Think for a second, what is the goal of a business? To earn money. If they lose money, and continue to lose money, what happens to them? They go under, and can't do anything you want them to. What if dubbing Blue Exorcist wasn't profitable, and caused them to LOSE money? Yeah, they'd go under and couldn't dub anything else.

Can Central Park Media give me the original 1997 Birdy the Mighty OVA a re-release? No, because they went bankrupt years ago.

Madoka isn't even out on DVD yet so how can you judge that they are not dubbing anything else? You simply do not know if they are yet. None of us do but I expect they will dub some shows in the future. Just not the ones they expect will not be able to make back what they pay for a dub with sales.

That's the thing though. How could they NOT expect Blue Exorcist to do well in sales with a dub? I'm pretty sure a dub for Blue Exorcist would of done pretty well in sales.

FUNimation probably expected When They Cry to get great sales when they rescued it, but guess what happened? It sold poorly. There are various factors the companies look into to see whether a show will sell or not when they pick them up. Plus, Aniplex USA also looked at streaming numbers. If Blue Exorcist streaming numbers were bad, why release it dubbed?

I don't know what they were like. I was just stating, if they were poor, they wouldn't bother releasing it dubbed, much less subbed. Streaming numbers these days are a big thing to look at to see whether or not a show is worth releasing at all.

Want to bet? Fate/Zero days after being solicited appeared in Rightstuf's list for top-sellers on Blu-ray, despite being $370 for 13 episodes. Don't underestimate it. Garden of Sinners came out nearly a year ago, and it sold out before it's release, despite being $500 for 8 movies.

Yeah, Garden of Sinners is longer available for purchase.
