That if it doesn't start at 9pm it's not back at all.

Good lord, you're dead set on this 9 PM thing? It will probably come back, but it'll be on later than 9 PM, #### deal with it. It'll be back, just not the way you wanted, but considering you love helping the anime industry go downhill, you don't really have a right to complain about them not giving you what you want.

I haven't been posting in a while but i have a new show I want to suggest, its actually and animated comedy that I think would suit the Adult Swim comedy lineup
"Quads", I saw it at a friend's place and I was laughing myself silly. Its very good
I also haven't been posting in a while because of school getting into the final stretch of the semester. I'm also trying to get something published by the end of summer if I can. I'm a very busy college student.
I am still hoping we one day get toonami back
Also wouldn't it be cool if there was ever a live action gundam movie series? Considering the plot its 100% impossible to have it americanized because of how they have global and in space battles.

So if Toonami was back on at Midnight, TOM's doing his thing, shows are airing, it's still not back, even though it's right there? Okay...

Well I only mentioned that issue because that was what happened when Hollywood tried to make an anime into a live movie.
But the fact is the story is really good and giant robots are popular and it would also be in different direction of Transformers even though its a similar genre. Plus there are people that are adults now that enjoyed gundam back then and it would appeal to a new generation of viewers too. Personally I would choose Gundam Wing or the original Gundam series for a movie idea. And collaborate with Bandai studios as well in order to help maintain the plot as it was written. Plus have them design the mobile suits for the movie.
I just would like to see the Gundams come to life on the big screen ( I already know there is a life size constructed Gundam in Japan)

You keep telling yourself that. Cuz if and when we're all watching Toonami past your bed time, and you're still complaining about Toonami "not being back" everyone will think you're crazy. Though we might already think that...
Toonami didn't originally air at 9pm so why does it have to start at 9pm?

Even though many people find many of the anime childish, I almost prefer it that way. Childish anime generally mean there's a comedic side to it, which obviously takes away from the seriousness of the show but, adds a nice light hearted feeling to it. However I also like anime that has it's adult side to it as well. Like making the women look like they just got out of bed... you know,an example wouold generally be the women from Bleach. But not to leave out the seriousness and heaviness of a show. I don't like when you know that the characters will never die, simply because they'll just bring them back in the next episode. I like when the gravity of the situation can actually outway the "good" characters and occasionally allow the "Bad" characters to triumph. I guess you could say I like consequence, but with jokes.

Ok, I could totally stand behind this idea. I hadn't even considered making a live movie with the gundams. So long as they don't completely screw it up like they did with DBZ. I mean to the effect of bad makeup artists, horrible effects and poor acting. I can't imagine it would be SO FRIGGIN HARD to find some good actors to play the parts. Not to mention bandia or someone in the mobile suit construction field (haha) and not to mention the fact that I'm sure finding some seriously wicked tech savvy people who could make the graphics fairly novel. I don't see any issue other than a budget. But totally possible if you ask me.

Yeah the DBZ movie was a waste I knew it was going to flop the second they said Goku was in high school. Goku has never gone to school in his entire life. They wanted to do it high school they should have just made a Saiyaman movie instead.
The concept art still exists from teh original gundams too, though I was wondering one concept for the story if it was Gundam Wing that was a live movie, there is a part the 5 Gundam Pilots are forced to self destruct their Gundams, there is also a part later in teh story they rebuilt them and it made me think if they did this part shoudl they have them look more like from Endless Waltz instead to indicate they upgraded the Gundams perhaps? It just makes me wonder considering the circumstances.
Oh yes I forgot to say this so I put it in my edit: Gackt who composed the Song "Metamorphoze" for Gundam Zeta did a music video and its actually taken with a CG wreckage of a Gundam and footage from the anime, its actually an official AMV of a Gundam by a real musician! check it out this is uploaded by the record label so it's legit.

I can see what you're saying, I enjoy comedy too but I want a balance of smart behind it as thats the format of comedy I know. It balances out the story as you get a rest from the bombardment of silly. And a plot that leaves you wondering who will live especially in Bleach as Kubo actually does serious abuse to his characters even killing some, though he doesnt kill characters in the main plot when its a anime filler. Ashido actually was meant to be part of the real story but Kubo had to cut it, shame really considering he was able to kill an adjucha menos without even releasing shikai, I mean he probably was least on the level of a captain if he could do that.

Your point is lousy DA.
It does not matter what time it starts. If it's called Toonami, then it's Toonami. If it has TOM, a cool atmosphere and great action shows then it's a darn good Toonami regardless of when it starts.
This is Toonami on Adult Swim, not Cartoon Network. Obviously it wont be the same. It may infact be better with uncensored anime and edgier shows than Toonami ever aired before.
Maybe if it does well then Toonami can start at 9 pm someday but you have got to be the only person on the whole internet claiming "it's not truly back unless it starts at 9pm like it did that one year in Toonami's 11 year existence".
Enjoy what you get because anything is better than nothing right? Stop looking for things to complain about.
I think what DA is saying is that they're a purist. They want their childhood experience of watching Toonami @ a certain time back. More so than merely bringing the block back.
