I read on the threads that Adult Swim might in fact be reviving Toonami after all the demands and input we submitted over the last 2 weeks

Also I added a couple of more show ideas and also a couple of movies for chance.

I'm really enjoying the new Lupin series. I think it'd do great on AS if it weren't for all the nudity they'd have to cut out.

I enjoyed it quite a bit actually. The interactions actually reminded me of Tenchi Muyo a bit, just with that weird monster-battle mix. But I still have to watch Season 2.

Saw the first two episodes on FUNi's site.

Blurring is about all they could do because the nudity is pretty common so far.

It would be quite progressive for them to run it but it should be much easier to do than say... Panty & Stocking or Elfen Lied.

It would undoubtedly surprise a lot of viewers and that would be a very good change of pace for Adult Swim.

They could, but it'd get real annoying real fast. Fujiko is topless for about 50% of her screen time, and they'd probably have to cut the OP and ED because she's naked in almost every shot.

I can see what you're saying, I enjoy comedy too but I want a balance of smart behind it as thats the format of comedy I know. It balances out the story as you get a rest from the bombardment of silly. And a plot that leaves you wondering who will live especially in Bleach as Kubo actually does serious abuse to his characters even killing some, though he doesnt kill characters in the main plot when its a anime filler. Ashido actually was meant to be part of the real story but Kubo had to cut it, shame really considering he was able to kill an adjucha menos without even releasing shikai, I mean he probably was least on the level of a captain if he could do that.

   Ashido was way too cool not to have been added into the story. Not just as a filler but to be part of the main storyline. I would've liked to see what his released shikia and his Bankia looked like. Not to mention the damage he could do with actual power instead of just his rickety sword. No doubt he could've probably taken on most of the Espada, aswell as many of the Arrancar. Truthfully I'd like to see a fight between Ashido and Kenpachi, just to see who would win in a unreleased Shikia fight. Something tells me with how much Ashido had been fighting (centuries) he could take Kenpachi down. Just my opinion.

  As far as the Gundam movie is concerned, I think they should keep the storyline, concept art, and all other aspects down to pretty much what the Anime had to offer. The anime itself still has many followers to it, in which case, the movie could only be presumed a high viewer movie. They could even go about starting the movie from the beginning of the series, and work it all the way to the end. More by timeline, and not so much by release date. It wouldn't be easy to keep such a long and intense storyline, but it would be completely worth the effort. They thought Transformers did well? I can only imagine how many people would be in the theaters to watch a live Gundam movie. Especially knowing that it would be only one part of a long line of live Gundam movies.

I've seen sekirei season 1 on funimation in sub and honestly I can't bring myself to see it in dub format because they say 80% of the names wrong. I was sorely disappointed by that when I learned they did that.

I've seen clips of that and the artistic values are kinda below the typical Lupin story. And the excessive hatching is really bugging me that I dont really care to see it. Its like they took charcoal to the animation cells and just ugh....

Oh speaking of Bakuman the manga just ended in Japan this week.

Anyone else think reairing Rurouni Kenshin uncut on the adult swim Toonami be a good idea? Would be cool to see the Samurai X series too.

And here is a trivia fact for you fans, in one season an outro Song "The Fourth Avenue Cafe" by international sensation L'Arc~en~Ciel was ripped from broadcast  and for the rest of the season was replaced the the song "Heart of the Sword" because former drummer Sakura was arrested for drug possession and subsequently kicked out of the band and later replaced with current drummer Yukihiro.
