Ok, if you haven't seen this anime, then you should. It has all the stuff that Death Note had, but more real. No shinigami.  The story goes, that a talented doctor named Tenma saves the life of a young boy instead of the mayor of the city. Because of this, he is demoted by the head of the hospital.  Sometime after this, the head of the hospitalis muredered and Tenma is the prime suspect. But due to lack of evidence, he is not prosecuted and becomes the head of the hospital. Ten years pass, and the killings start anew. And the killer turns out to be the boy Tenma had saved.  Tenma then tries to track down the man, known as Johan. Along the way he has to deal with police and the German version of the FBI.

No one currently has a license to this show and it would be a huge pick-up for [as].

Viz Media was shoping this around........... hopefully [as] was smart enough to grab this, tis a type of show that would fit nicely with their target auidence .... and if [as] did grab it, Viz Media would release dvds of it... which means Monster dvds that would be mine forever

YES!!! This would be a monumental pickup for both [as] and viz media.  Plus the prospect of DVD's is too tantalizing to ignore. Hell if [as] bought the rights outright, they couold sell the DVD's themselves and make a frikken fortune!

it would be..... could Viz was *once again this year* shopping it around to see if any company would distribute it at the MIPCOM .... wonder if [as] would take that chance with it

Well, with Bandai bringing down the hammer on [as] for the way they have treated anime, [as] could get Monster to boost their anime ratings and really stick it to Bandai.  So there are a lot factors that could lead to a positive acquisition from [as].

i don't like to judge anything before seeing it, but comparing it to death note isn't exacltly a glowing recommendation (imo). death note is the worst series i have seen in... well, a long time...

YES! [as] needs to get monster!...They should also bring back Death Note. i dont care if they are all reruns its still one of the best

There was a time when I thought Monster would be a classy choice for Adult Swim but in retrospect based on how Death Note and Paranoia Agent did in the ratings, Monster would bomb hard. I think the whole thing is up on some streaming sites and possibly even dubbed on some site because Manga tends to upload the Anime Monday shows dubbed.

All 74 episodes dubbed on Hulu for free. I hear the show is brilliant but there's no need for it to take up space on Adult Swim when it's available dubbed and subbed on Hulu.

Yeah, however he did improve months ago, and stayed like that. He didn't start going back to this kind of thing "[as] hates anime. They won't get this." until recently. Truly disappointing to see him go back to the DA that makes us go bald and lose our minds.

I don't look at Hulu all the time to see whether streams are expiring or not.But considering I still see Gurren Lagann up (It's uploaded DUB-ONLY.), and it's been up for like two years, I'd say they don't really remove streams.
