It's a programming game similar to message board style elims, but instead of elminating shows or characters from a generic list, your votes serve to create the weekly in-game programming schedule.
The more points a show gets, the more slots it gets on the block, and the closer to primetime it's shown.
Ever wondered what the block would look like if only the message board fans programmed it?
Well, check out the link in my sig. There's a lot of information, but the rules are fairly simple.
Each person gets to vote 2 "ratings" points each hour (see rules for further explanation on acceptable combinations).
Those ratings points go toward show scores.
Show scores determine where they appear on the schedule.
Shows may also be voted on to be "acquired" (aka, if it's not currently avaialable to the schedule, you can vote for it to become an acquisition for the block, if it gets 100 votes, it makes the list).
The scores also dictate which shows get new episodes and seasons.
It's basically a "pass the time"/elim type message board game that results in an in-game Adult Swim schedule made entirely by the message board fans.
It does not effect the on-air schedule in any way, it's only a game.
But we've had a lot of fun with it in the past, so we're reviving it for the holidays.
hope you enjoy it.
