ur right [as] is not as fun as it used to be!!
adultswim should return to its more-than-slightly-adulturized original programming and give up on shows fox dropped in the 90s (or early 00s ....i dont know when the pjs were dropped). i remember a time when i would stay up all night to see a cartoon milkshake mouth off to a fat, lonely newjersey-ite just so i could relay the wonders of late night cartoons to my schoolmates. but now i can watch the same shows on fox at 6 in the afternoon.
whats wrong with you [as]? did you get to much money from these amazing original shows that it was just burning a hole in your pocket? i guess that would explain the willy-nilly spending of money on shows that noone cares about. why [as], why hast thou forsaken me to a not-so-redneck family and another black comedy cartoon?
its like [as] is showing these shows as a joke about how regular jack-offs watch this crap! if so then bravo [as], *start slow clap* bravo.

aw man, i forgot about tenchi.
you are absolutly right! we dont come to [as] looking for nothing but original programing. if we did we'd be missing out on most of the shows that make [as] so "freakin sweet." but i still hold to the idea that [as] shouldnt take on shows that dont help represent the overall weirdness that weve come to love...oh god my grammar is horrible today lol id like to think its because im watchin "nocountry for old men" but feel free to make a big deal out of it

As I look through all these suggestions I'd have to swear that half of adultswim's viewers are prepubescent kids, which I hope to God isn't true. Not attacking anyone or anything of that sort but as a suggestion to AS how about playing just shows intended for the 18-35 range. I mean, isn't that the whole reason for adultswim. That is to play shows for adults, and keep all the kiddie stuff on the daytime airing. LOL
Peace

i LOVE adult swim just as it is.

I think if they are looking for shows, The Max, Roco's Modern Life, Ultraman, Pete & Pete, Tenchi Muyo, or The Chichi's. Don't get me wrong I like King of the Hill. But come on. King of the Hill is still on air. I thought that [as] was looking for shows that you would not see on the other networks. If it was not for this network we would only have the first season of Family Guy. Oh and I like the idea of Sgt. Frog. But that is my two cents. Viva [as]
KOTH has been cancelled by fox, so once this season ends, it won't be on any other channel.
To whoever said The Critic, its set to air sometime soon. I remember seeing it on the schedule recently.
The only show I really want [as] to get is The Simpsons. Yes, it'll be another Fox show but Fox is really the only network that makes animated shows, so its more about airing as much animated stuff as possible and less about airing everything from Fox as possible. And really, who doesn't like The Simpsons? The latter years haven't been great, but the first 10 or so are classics.

except KOTH is still on Spike
and [as] is always Funfetti with the schedule a show can be sheduled to begin playing one day, and then entirely vanish the next...
plenty of channels besides Fox do animated stuff, if your only going to pick up cartoons from one channel, then we might as well cut [as] and just give Fox extra rateings, at least then you wouldn't have to stay up all night to watch the ecaxt show that was on at noon, Simpsons is classic yes, but it's classic Fox, it wouldn't work on [as]
as far as picking up all the old Funfetti from back in the 90s it's a great idea, because [as] is suposed to be aimed at, well adult's, and right now the majority of people who consider themselves adults but are still childish enough to admit to watching cartoons all night, were born in the 90s, but it'd be best if they picked up some of the shows that weren't already done to death 10 years ago

Muppet Babies indeed ! I was just a kid but I remember hearing a lot of inside jokes and throw away lines in there.
But the best new pick up is the P.J.'s-laugh out loud funny stuff still not available on DVD.
However let's not forget that the best thing about Adult Swim is its venue for short form avant garde and experimental television not a clearing house of preexisting shows.

Give some sexual favors or free blow to who ever is running the generation killing machine which is known as Mtv.
So you can raid there archives and get your hands on a copy of the show The Head and Liquid television.
Both those shows are just screaming to be on Adult Swim.
