Ok, I agree that alot of show there look pretty good to show, but if they are going back to shows that got cancelled while we were kids and we thought were awesome, there is only one show I believe they need to bring, and yes its a anime. They have shown its movie a few times, and I am unsure weather or not people remember it when it came to America and got cancelled a month later or so due to... what it showed, But it is a well done show in my case and I think I can garenty that if [as] doesn't get it Sci-fi will get it. SOrry guys but in anime, Sci-fi is kicking your Funfetti in animes.
The show I am refering to is Escaflowne the seires. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5ZXbrqPjKM
Other then that though you reall need to step it up with the animes taht rock and quick with the crap that Funfetti. And if you can get your hands on the next batch of naruto when they grow older so Cartoon network don't Butcher it.

some of these suggestions are ridiculous... invader zim? dragon ball z? come on!
although now that i think of it, the original dragon ball series would be a welcome addition, providing they could get a dubbed, completely unedited version (does that exist? dvd?). dragon ball's adult oriented comedy was really ahead of its time! dbz just wouldn't fit in at all, not even in the anime block. and the animation was so inconsistent... does anybody remember that? one episode would be drawn in some awesome really distinctive style and then the next episode would look like 12 oz. mouse (no offense, ozmo is my favorite [as] show).
...anyway, bad suggestions. bad viewers! bad!
p.s. [as] would love to have the simpsons. they've become obsessed with their ratings, though they probably have to be.

cartoon network didn't butcher naruto. naruto butchered naruto. it was a really amazing and exciting show up until somewhere around episode 120, where the cartoon completely stoped following the manga and the animation quality dropped horribly. this happened in the original japanese version as well. what happened was the cartoon quickly caught up the original manga and then had nothing to follow. since naruto's ratings were so high, instead of delaying the show for a year and waiting for the comic to catch up a bit, they just made a whole year's worth of crappy filler episodes. the next batch that you're talking about, naruto shippuuden, isn't too much better. the animation loosely follows the comic, and the production value isn't so great. sadly, that show is way out of it's prime.
cartoon network did butcher any segment in the series with references to alcohol though. my favorite part in the show was when lee accidentally drinks sake and it turns out he's naturally a master of the drunken fist. cartoon network ruined that whole episode by calling the sake "special potion" and the drunken fist the "potion punch." or some shiz. they also removed the redness in his cheeks and the bubbles over his head.

HA yeah i remember that episode!
idk guys maybe its just me but i think instead of adding stuff [as] doesnt need, we should just start taking shows to the guellutine and begin to remove the infected matter (sorry french history and anat&physi today). i like what we had, no i love what we had and for some odd reason i thought [as] was this idealistic network that refused to bow to the rating system and would continue to exclude everyone but their loyal veiwers by keeping the weird, creepy, highlarious, tim-and-eric-like shows and not excepting any other brand of low brow entertainment. meaning, i know [as] can have fart humor at times (robot chicken) but it was our fart humor not a cosby show knock off with a plunger and eddy fuuuuuudgein murphy (which was made fun of by robot chicken). i just wish [as] would stop fuuuuuudgein with what theyve got.

I know what yoru talkign about but stil, that did make it a little butchering. The thing is though is most the swearing is cut as well. I agree there was too much filler also, but some of it was ok, and yeah the queality did drop too, but the story in the next batch at least stays strong. I still Stand by my opinion of them getting the series of Escaflowne, though I do also agree there the unrated version of DGZ sounds sweet, jsut as long as they dont' include the crap that aired after it. Bring in the quility animes that have story and also includes good stories and sweet action like they originally did wiht inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun.
I also think I said I agree with some of the suggestions, not really sure, but still yeah that they need better animes and comedies casue lately the quality is... well its just boarderlining stupidity with comedy and there Anime selection is getting pushed back to far in the night over all the stupidity. I took a look at Tim and Eric Awesome show.... only thing I saw was grown men acting like idiots and then doing whatever they liked to add to the clip to make it last longer or whatever, Not funny, just stupidity at it's finiest.

tim and eric....where do i begin? well let me start by saying, i feel bad for you because your like the kid just outside the circle that doesnt get an inside joke so he makes petty coments behind their backs. tim and eric is like one giant satirical cluster fuuuuuudge, and if you get what theyre making fun of its highlarious....before i go on, i have to say that tim and eric is NOT a stoner show, you do NOT have to be high to love it!...but again im really sorry and i wish i could explain how the jokes exist in your head and the punchlines are yours to create. in tom goes to mayor and tim and eric awesome show great job the jokes are for you to interpret as an act against society, come to think of it (and i know im gonna get Funfetti for this) but they are kind of like the chaucer of our time, they dont outright tell you they hate someone or something about society but they instead show them/it in a light that....doesnt portray them kindly. they dedicated a whole episode to making fun of mtv/fuse/other-bullFunfetti-teen-network shows by calling it the jim and derick show. they reminded us of how much product placement goes into one episode of any mtv crap by almost repeatedly announcing a energy-drink challenge to be had at the end of the show. to say the least it was beautiful. they nailed every mannerism a tipical mtv sketch/skate/chill show would have and turned it back on them.
i just dont think tim and eric are given enough credit for the things they do, because some people would rather have comedy just flashed in front of us so we wont have to think.
i love anime but i also love tim and eric

MST3K would absolutely be amazing on adult swim!
love the idea
but everyone one keeps talking about Invader Zim, and I ask..
why? I know that sounds appealing to you all, but honestly, isn't that just a little
off? I know I'm just a noob, but it is ADULT swim, and Invader Zim dosen't
seem all that classic, and i know it's kind of a cult thing like clerks is,
so at this point I would have to say no to Zim, and hell yes to MST3K!

Hmm...lol vent my spleen...anyways some shows I thinks are [AdultSwim] worthy:
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumia
(its up your Funfetti weirdness and great art)
Ef ~A Tale of Memories~
(Hmmm might be too romantic and not enough blood crazy)
Busou Renkin
(good storyline, lots of fighting)
and most of all...
School Days
(kinda weird anime, ending is EXTREMELY violent though hehehe...(evil thoughts))
