thats true to an extent... just because something is promoted doesnt necisarilly mean it will get good ratings, anime, in general, seems to be rarely accepted by most people in our culture, most people who i inform that i occasionaly watch anime, usually start spewing "oh that stuff is lame" or "what like naruto?" in general most people in our society are pretty close minded (including myself) about alot of different, and usually stupid topics, theres really nothing we can do about "anime haters" in our culture, they exist, and unfortunately outnumber the number of people who enjoy GOOD anime, eventually the tv and movie industry will run out of ideas and start stealing ideas from the anime industry, or buying them out, which is bound to happen relatively soon, its rare i see many good movies lately, other than the hangover, which was awesome, but they recently made a movie about john dillinger, which i though, JOHN DILLINGER? SWEET! how wrong i was, that movie was absolutely horrible, other than johnny depp taking a bullet through the face, its one the worst movies ive seen in ages, and i watched ninja assassin (hah) and i normally LOVE ANYTHING about ninjas, minus naruto.
