It's not animated, but Black Dynamite would be good. It's halfway between a parody and an homage to Blaixplotation flicks. There's some nudity and a lot of swearing, but you could edit it without killing the movie.

My suggestion is to never, ever play whatever 80's teen garbage you shoved like a fisted **grok** into what should have been comedic adult cartoonage, last night.

(The 31st of March '11 for the artards.)

All your live action shows, with the exception of cameo apprearances on Tim & Eric, and Children's Hospital (because RC is awesome) **grok**.  They just plain **grok**.  Its CARTOON network.  Don't go the way MTV did.  I had to watch the World's Blankiest Blank shows on truTV last night to get my nightly dose of comedic violence and stupidity.  Whatever that was, stop it.  You just stop it right now.  BAD! BAD Adult Swim Programmers! You, NO!

There is no emoticon to convey how disappointed and mildly annoyed I am.

Read or Die

Reshow the Read or Die movie, it's great.

It has a U.S. president pissing himself at least twice.

It has a Goku that can breath fire.

It has a real Beethoven Virus.

And how can you refuse Miss Deep.

(That is, if [AS] still has the rights to it.)

Why not an Inuyasha movie? You guys already air the show on AS. The first one or the third one (they do not go in order)  would be good.

Also, the Death Note Live action movies OR the Death Note Relight: Visions of a God. AS used to air Death Note so you should already know they plot. But basically, if you air the live action, you have to air all three, which will be a pain. BUT if you do the Relight: Visions of a god, all it is, is a summary of Death Note in Ryuk's eyes.

The Fullmetal Alchemist Movie Conquerer of Shamballa. Since you have already aired the old series, the original, people should already know about it. But if not it is easy to catch along to and understand.

I second the Cowboy Bebop movie.

None of these require edits.

Here's a great movie to view the Cowboy Beebop Movie. I saw it a few times and it was pretty good. Spike really shows off his fighting skills in this one and does the most of any other character.

i would suggest Fritz the cat. if possible. there is a lot of nudity and sex (of anthropomorphic animals) that would have to be cencored or cut. and some of the subject matter might be to taboo even for adult swim. all that aside, its gotta be one of the best full-length animated movies i have ever seen. its hard to believe it was made in the sixties. plus its really funny.

been an [as] fan since the beginning. and still running strong.

I suggest the 1994 Mixed **tut-tut** movie.

Mixed **tut-tut** is a motion picture comedy directed by Nora Ephron, based on the French comedy film, Le Père Noël est une ordure (1982). Its cast includes Steve Martin, Madeline Kahn, Rita Wilson, Anthony LaPaglia, Garry Shandling and Adam Sandler.  The events focus around a crisis hotline business on one crazy night during the Christmas holidays.

It should be played on christmas eve or something, i just think it's one of those underrated movies more people should watch so it could become a cult classic or something.

Amon: Apocalypse of Devilman. It's pretty bloody, but it is nothing compared to intense scenes of violence found in anime such as Elfen Lied.

Description: "Fear runs rampant throughout Tokyo with the revelation that demons in fact exist amongst us. Paranoia and the darker side of humanity boils onto the streets as people turn on one another, suspecting that anyone could in fact be a demon hiding in human clothing. Amidst the growing tensions, tragedy strikes Akira causing his mind to snap, retreating into his subconscious, allowing his Devilish alter-ego Amon to break free from Akira's cage of flesh and wreak havoc on both human and demons alike.

Amon: The Darkside of The Devilman is a re-imagining of the last chapters of the original Devilman manga. Where in the original, Devilman faces Satan after seeing the slain friend Miki Makimura's decapitated head, Amon sees Akira lose control of himself, and due to his sadness and depression from not being able to protect Miki, allows Amon to gain control of Akira, and his powers again.

In Volume 2, we start to see the origins of both Amon, and Sirène, and see more of Earth under the demon's rule."

Im not sure if this counts, but i would LOVE to see Mystery Science Theatre 3000 on adultswim. I think its very age appropriate and the perfect type of show for Friday or Saturday nights, 1 episode a week (more if you want, but i understand that runtime is an issue). Please, please, please AS. Resurect MST3k, because that show deserves it more than any other.

Gangsta Rap: The Glockumentary.

No explicit sex scenes, no nudity, tame violence. The only things to look out for is the explicit language, and the occasional drug usage. Some censoring can be done, but if possible, It would be better if there is no editing involved.

This would go great with adult swim seeing as how they've been airing things that parody and poke fun of contemporary Urban culture. Many people here would like the movie.

Metropolis (the anime). It's set in the future, where serious segregation issues between robots and people define society. Here is what wikipedia says:

Metropolis (メトロポリス Metoroporisu?) is a 2001 anime film and loosely based on the 1949 Metropolis manga created by the late Osamu Tezuka, itself inspired by the 1927 German silent film of the same name, though the two do not share plot elements. The anime, however, does draw aspects of its storyline directly from the 1927 film. The anime had an all-star production team, including renowned anime director RintaroAkira creator Katsuhiro Otomo as script writer, and animation by Madhouse Studioswith conceptual support from Tezuka Productions. In the United States, the anime was given a PG-13 rating by the MPAA for "violence and images of destruction" and TV-14-LV rating when it aired on Adult Swim.

I love this movie. the music is pretty awesome. I watched it at a midnight showing in a movie theatre. It was great..except for the girl in the audience who kept laghing AT it rather than with it. Jerk.

Vampire Hunter D and Bloodlust

Cartoon Network aired the first movie back in 95'. Unfortunately, it was butchered down to the bare bones; worse than a Y7-FV edit.
