some movies i would like to see aired are the Vampire Hunter D movies (there so good!!), Princess Moanoke,The Bebop movie i think would be a good idea sence AS already is runnin the sersies.i would also like to see maybe some of the Inu Yasha movies translated.

If they show Miyazaki then they probably won't bother with putting it on Adult Swim.  Of course an original Japanese dub /w subtitles would get more viewers on the Swim.  Kids don't wan't to bother with that stuff, they want to hear the dub with Billy Bob Thorton.

And since they have an excatly 3 hour block and Furi Kuri is 6 episodes, definately do a marathon!

Hey just a thought, but I know that the Oh! My Goddess OAV is pretty cool and generally breaks the strictly action anime movie trend that [AS] is enjoying.  Very little editing is necesary and it's funny as all [eplative deleted].

How about some Anime movies, such as Akira, Vampire Hunter D, or even the Inuyasha movie, or the Cowboy Bebop movie.  I love the shows, but some of the movies have things reltated to the shows that people don't know about.  Even some of the DBZGT or DBZAF movies.  Something maybe on Saturday nights, late, so my wife will be in bed, and I don't have to hear her talking about how cartoons are for children, and I say it is "Adult Swim," and she says "Children's Swim!"

The movie idea is an awesome idea! Every Friday show an awesome anime movie! *cough* But my show suggestion is Noir. That anime is totally awesome! I saw like one episode and I was stuck on it like bees on honey baby! Description: Its about a chick who is a hired murderer, and a girl with amnesia. Theres alot of gunfire and explosions!  Totally awesome! Please consider this!

I don't want to come off has being radical but i think that the moderators of this place  can be hypocritical sometimes. For a place that is called Adult Swim there sure aren't many adult activties and with all these requirements and censorship of certain shows maybe adult swim should improve its name to PG 13 Swim.

GUNDAM WING ENDLESS WALTZ - awesome movie, no edits needed.

PRINCESS MONONOKE - Definitely one of the best anime movies of all time. Same guy also made that other movie........Spirited Away. That one is good, too.

Endless waltz, cowboy bebop:knockin' on heaven's door, and Princess Mononoke seem to have the most amount of votes. i wish they would go ahead and start showing some movies. this thread is just getting really repetative anyway.

I just wonted to tell I agree with you that Spriggan is a good anime. I own it and the action is good. The only down fall is that there is a lot of gore from what I remember and that might make editing hard.

oh yeah.. I know it's a kinda wimpy movie.. but still cool i suppose.. kiki's delivery service. Really well done and some parts are funny. I think they showed it on CN a while ago.. can't remember when exactly.

It is a little old and is dubbed, I don't think anyone would get lost too much either, this movie doesn't need any editing it is Urusei Yatsura movie 1 "Only You"

Summary:

11 years ago a young Ataru played a game of "shadow tag" with an alien girl. After he stepped on her shadow she told him that on her planet, stepping on someone's shadow is a marriage proposal. She went away but told him that she'd return and pick him up in 11 years.

The present.

Everyone in Tomobiki has been recieving inviations to a wedding between Ataru Moroboshi and a woman named Elle. But no-one, including Ataru has any clue who this "Elle" is. Ataru undergoes much interogation and punishment by the hands of the Stormtroopers, Shinobu, Mendo and Lum but he still can't recall any woman named Elle.

Then a the clouds split open and a gigantic starship touches down. Here we see the captain and Elle's nanny Babara who are here to pick up Ataru and bring him to planet Elle. Babara puts a sheild around Ataru to protect him for the ceremony so even Lum's electric zaps don't affect him. Ataru fully intends to marry this Elle and won't listen to Lum's pleas. Heartbroken, Lum flies off.

As the ship takes off, and people are blowing away like leaves, Sakura quotes one of my favorite lines in the movie. "The universe is truly vast. To think that someone could compeat with Lum's bad taste in men." Later that night we see Lum wandering the streets with nowhere to go. From out of the shadows comes Lum's friend Benten who flushes out one of Babara's spies that had been following Lum. They sit down at a diner and Benten coaxes Lum to act and take back her Darling. And so Lum runs off to do just that.

Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie
- A what if story line showing what would happen if Ryu was to turn evil and be consummed by the Dark Hado.

They both have very nice plot line and good fight sences.

I'm not going to go through all these pages, so I do believe it may have been suggested.  "Princess Mononoke"  is an excellent one.   Too complex to sum up.  Basically a prince with a curse leaves to find the Spirit of the forest to lift his curse, and he gets thrown in the middle of humans battling boars and wolves for their forest.   I love that movie.   Also, naturally "Akira"!  No need summing up on that one!!  I still haven't seen the "Cowboy Bebop" movie yet. (for shame)

I don't know if this is suggested or not but I think Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie would be an awsome movie to air. The american version that they released a few years back already had the Chun-Li shower scene cut out so there's shouldn't be a lot to cut save the language. I don't think anyone owns the rights to it. Sci-fi used to show it but they canned their Saturday Anime series so. Anyways if someone suggested it already my apologise.
