toonami does need to come back but its dead and probably not comming back. they should replace it with something that is similar but better show no pokemon or other ten year old crap it doesnt all have to be japanamei they should just make sure what they put in it agrees with most of the audience, hamtaro was a super pimp-spy-cowboy-astronaut-dr undercover in a crappy show

Certainly it could if someone at CN wanted to do that but that simply isn't the case.

Likewise if they wanted more anime they'd get it, they don't want more because it doesn't make them profit like their own shows and shows they get a cut from do.

So they're retarded because they don't want to play more anime? Yeah.... no. As much as I'd love for them to play say... One Piece again... I can understand why they'd see little to no value in airing it.

And that is not by any means to say it's not worth playing because it's a great show but it doesn't help their bottom line which is struggling right now and that isn't because they don't play good anime... it's because they invested in some really stupid live-action crap that didn't pan out at all.

Maybe someday they'll be willing to play shows they don't get much from playing other than ratings but it's just not in the cards right now.

But I could pretty much guarentee they'd be airing One Piece right now if they got a cut of the merchandise like they do with Bakugan but that's something FUNimation and Toei Animation don't want to give them. Which is understandable because it means it's less profitable for them. Sure would be nice if they could arrange a compromise but until then (if then ever comes) I've got the DVDs to enjoy and FUNimation streams dubbed episode of One Piece uncut on their website along with the latest episodes from Japan subbed in English and that keeps me more than content.

what ever toonami had a good run if the ratings could go so high they would have to notice you just need the right lne up on the wright time slot when the real and seceret cartoon fans can see then a replay the next day on diff time slot for who missed rhe first air butt never air any epp 3 times playing out cartooons is probably what got toonami canned in the first place can i get a amen or a haleeberry imean hallighloua, im not a good spelleer

he waz in destroy build destroy, dumest and shortest show ever even my son hated it and would watch nickolodean ,i cant spell, spongeboob is funnier and better developed than some of what cn passes for cartoons.

Cartoon Network is not heading in the right direction, though.

Which means it will eventually lead to failure, bankruptcy, and disappearance from the face of TV forever.

i hope not there are some good shows during the day that are original i think they started to fall off their game when CartoonNetwork tried to go all orig the real stuff was the straw that got two birds with one stone? Butt they also own the oldschool cartoon networ boomerang or is that a seperate company? any way it could be saved i think they should drop the cardgame shows/ keep pokeman cause little kids like it, can all the real stuff start mixing in goodenough overlooked toons that were abandoned, ie darkduck,teentitans, new inuyasha, all naruto in order two epps a week that could give them time to get the loot for new epps i remember waiting for db,dbz,and dbgt and even despite the reruns it was worth the wait, they should get avatar the last airbender from nick and bloody it up some, the total drama action,island, the surf show funny choweder hillarious. I grew up with CN even before AS so i would hate to see it go, butt you sir are most likely right the have begun to fall at CN so they should get their game back a stay for later generations cause cartoons are a release to kids and everyone that uses it as a veichle to escape even if its just 15 min intervals. am i wrong?

i recomend basilisk, its like naruto meets inuyasha if both of those two animes werent absolutely horrible

maybe not unedited... but look at Naruto when it aired... almost completely uncut (minus a few things here or there ... so ive been told)

surely a few things would still have to be cut... but instead of that awful TV-Y7 rating that Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin got they could bust it up to TV-PG

but (like sketchor said) they wont till they can get a cut of the pi.....
