Space Ghost Coast to Coast

The "Build a Custom DVD" feature now has 83 Space Ghost: Coast to Coast episodes and among those are the final 7 episodes without an official DVD release. I know people were looking forward to a Volume 6, but who knows when they'll get around to that if ever. You can make your own Volume 6 now. Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up.

Excellent. I'll probably build one with those Space Ghost episodes after I do one for Lucy.

You could actually combine those pretty easily. They can only fit 9 episodes per disc. The 11 "Lucy" episodes + the 7 final "Space Ghost" episodes = 18 episodes. Exactly 2 discs.

The only thing that's bothering me is the cost of it all. Would probably be cheaper if I just waited for the boxsets.

Normally I would agree, but given the general apathy and laziness displayed by Adult Swim historically, I don't there's any guarantee a real Volume 6 is ever coming. This might be all we get.

Also, for those keeping score at home, a couple of the episodes that were missing from Volume One -- namely "Self Help" and "Gum, Disease" -- are also available. "Le Livre D'Histoire" is still MIA, though.

Well this is great news and potentially bad news for the cheaper shows we used to love.

Those 15 dollar season sets are likely to fall out of grace compared to a disc and half at the price of 40 dollars.

5. "The Mask" (not exactly an episode since the only time it was ever scheduled to air AFAIK was for the SGC2C Bootleg Mini-Marathon a few years ago)

7. "Brilliant Number Two"
8. the Roker version of "Chambraigne"
9. the short "Fire Ant" (which has alternate dialogue)
10. "Baffler Meal" (available on ATHF vol. 2 w/ a deleted scene)
11. "Whipping Post"
12. "Eat a Peach"
13. "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed"
14. "Idlewild South"
15. "Dreams"
16. "Live at the Fillmore"
    

The ones available for [AS] Manufacture-On-Demand DVDs are marked in red. Since I have to wait for my order to come in to verify that "Chambraigne" is the Roker version, I figured it'd be better to not give false hope by marking it. Still, I expect that it is since they're using the versions not yet on SGC2C DVDs everywhere else. However, there's no chance in sight that I'll get to see the Game Tap eps if we don't get a Volume 6 that isn't MOD.

Add to the list "11a", which is Lokar hosting and showing the storybook house version of Banjo and the Jim Carey interview.  I uploaded it to Youtube awhile back, and part 1 got pulled after a long time over copyright, I guess because that part had jim Carey.  The second part is still up.  A few other episodes I uploaded also got pulled, but everything else is still there.  Why they didn't just pull all of them I don't know.  I also uploaded the Roker Chambraigne which is still there.

Thanks for listing the episodes not yet on DVD! I was bummed to find that I can't fit them ALL on a disc, however I did make this DVD:

I figure the World Premiere Toon In is good enough in the edited form, and Fire Ant went in over Baffler Meal as I already have the ATHF DVD. 6 minutes remain. It's a shame that the Anime Talk Show or some assorted commercials weren't available for space filler.

And all nine missing episodes (not counting alternate versions) fit on one disc. Well, I know what my next purchase is going to be.

I went with the former and titled my dvd "SGC2C AND THE REST", gave it the nautical theme, had the disc subtitle read "Ow! Oh, God!" (Space Ghost's last words) and wrote in the description:

Just sit right back and watch a show,

a show about a talk show ghost

Zorak and a fireman

on a ten year tour (repeat)

Get it? Gilligan's Island? Tying the final episodes in with the Gilligan episode of the first season? "And the rest" referring to the Gilligan theme song and "the rest" of the SGC2C episodes? Am I trying too hard? LOVE ME!!!

I just threw together a DVD in iDVD of the remaining lost episodes (The Mask, Christmas, etc.). Thanks Google Video!

I have yet to ever see all of the Gametap episodes. Does [as] even have the rights to putting those on DVD?

Mine came today too! What case did you go for? I did the lonely brown picture of the sea... because Space Ghost ends with him getting hit by a roller coaster. Goes well with the previous two releases. Sort of a all white, all black and then all brown trio.

Got my DVD. It's the Roker version of Chambraigne they're using. I'd edit my list to reflect that discovery if I knew how.
