Space ghost: Hippest show ever?

So i been thinkin', Space Ghost:C2C was the perfect combination of nostalgia combined with nausea, irony and absurdity, and detached hipness that epitomized the nineties.

His guest list ranged from throwbacks to Gen X's childhood and cheesey 70s/80s stuff (like SG himself was in repeats during their childhood) to the new heroes of popular counter-culture during the time. And while they mocked the silly, stupid, and lame, the cool folks seemed to fit in more on SG than anywhere else. Bjork as SG's wife and Thom Yorke in this ep. Beck, Pavement and countless other folks i can't think of.

People said Conan O'Brian was the hip host back in the late nienties-early millenium, but it was really SG. And they took the experimental format breaking other shows had toyed with before (like the SImpsons) to whole new levels on a constant basis.

Moral Orel and Pushing Daisies are both cancelled.
I love King of the Hill, but i don't know if it fits [as]. Better than Family Guy again, though.
Atleast i can look forward to anothr season of Xavier and Squidbillies.

I agree 100%
and also,
SGC2C is the grandfather of [adult swim]
He was there before any of the other shows
so he should be in the schedule regularly

Be sure to catch Cartoon Planet at 8pm EST Friday nights on the Cartoon Network!

This show is quite funny now that I've gotten to see it. Thom Yorke and Bjork guest starring in tonight's episode is mere icing.

Space Ghost Coast to Coast is the Supreme show.
NOTHING IS BETTER than SPACE GHOST COAST TO COAST on [Adult Swim] right now or evEr!!
Once upon a time, there was a woman picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the Snake answered, "Look Btch, you knew I was a snake."

Space Ghost was even to cool for a standardized length. Not only can it be a brisk 11-12 minutes, but many times it would surprise you and just keep going for minutes more at a time. I'm pretty sure the ep $20.01 is like 19 minutes long.

Actually, it's longer than that. Over 22 minutes, in fact, if I recall correctly.

Other double-(and in one case triple-)length episodes include "Late Show," "Cookout," "Warren" and "Fire Ant." And episodes like "Zorak" and "Explode" also stretched well beyond the 12-minute point.
In case you're wondering, no, I do not celebrate Wookiee Life Day. Wookiee Life Day is for simps.

100% cosine

SGC2C is (was) the reason i am still watching ASComedy. Hoping for the occasional glimpse of brilliance that inhabits every SGC2C to come shining thru-seen flashes of it in Assy, Metalocalypse, and Squids. Old school Sealab had definite moments of sheer genius-Wish I could claim I see it in T&E, but i still like them for someother reason. Not the same like as SGC2C though.

No show ever got the mix as correct as the best of SGC2C.....as someone stated above, the Grandfather of all Adult Swim.

It started [as] so I think they should at least put one of the shows on that originated from that show. Or finally make Blood Dumpster.

I judge a person's cool factor primarily around their familiarity with Space Ghost.

That's an interesting pic!

I've been told I can draw Zorak better than the animators can. I guess that's only cos I draw him all the time though.

One of my friends has seen it and likes it, another one didn't seem to get into it, and sometimes my mother would laugh at some of when it she'll watch it.

Uh..........wa......uh......you......you think of something.
