The list of great movies he was in (and great directors he worked for) would be too long to list them all. Just look him up on IMDb and prepare to be awed.

Also, check out this terrific interview that he did with the A.V. Club a couple years back. The man had some stories.

He even played a general in the "Little Green Men" episode of Star Trek Deep Space Nine.

RIP

Once upon a time, there was a woman picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the Snake answered, "Look Btch, you knew I was a snake."

I also enjoyed his role as the character Duke from "The Critic". R.I.P. to him and Jobs as well.

I always thought he was the better of the two Sheriff voices. Not that the current one is bad, but Napier's voice was just so great for the part. I've never heard why he was replaced. Maybe health problems had something to do with it.

Lest we forget his awesome performance in the John Landis Classic "The Blues Brothers" as Tucker Mcelroy

"Driver Of The Winnebago" of  "The Good Ole Boys" country band!

And I am in no way being sarcastic! "The Blues Brothers" was ALWAYS a classic

in my family's house!  In fact, my brothers & I can STILL recite practically

every line from it!!! :smileyvery-happy:

R.I.P.  Charlie,

you were a great "MASTER THESPIAN"!!!
