When I look at the way the warden acts and looks, one thing comes to mind: This is what you would get if you mixed Gendo Ikari with Willy Wonka and put him in charge of a jail instead of a chocolate factory or an orginization for "saving" the world with giant robots.

I would not mind seeing more of this show. The pilot **bleep**, no doubt, BUT..... it shows promise. KInda like Larry and Steve before it transformed into Family Guy.

I thought the pilot was great, liek a cross between beavis and butthead/ willy wonka and some other crazy **bleep**. In fact I think this might be the only pilot I really liked, drinky crow wasn'tr really funny at all to me, crookd sipp was werird and somewhat pointless, fat guy was sorta good but not funny enough and the let's fish show doesn't seem to have much potential. sorry for ripping on the other pilots for those of you who liked them but it's just my opinion. I can't wait for mor super jail

This show was just flat out funny. Kind of reminded me of a great 12oz mouse(if that were possible) not saying that 12oz. mouse was horrible though. Superjail was just flat out funny, the humor wasn't forced like Drinky Crow or Lets fish, and had all the pretty colors that would supply a druggy with weeks of entertainment. Animation reminded me of those old Tootsie Pop, and Tootsie Roll commercials. The Mystery Meat monster was freakin sweet. By far the best show of the night.

That had to be the most twisted, vile, distrubing, sadistic, sick, demented, unholy piece of film I have ever seen in my life.

The best way I can describe this show is that it's a "funny nightmare".

Superjail knows what it means to be a cartoon and takes every advantage of it. Great stuff.

9/10.

i though it was pretty good
awesome action sequences
i thought it lacked a little in plot though
and i think there coulda been a little more focus on comedy and a little less on the disgustingness factor
but i liked it
i would watch it everyday

I'm sorry, I guess I'm just not seeing it. Maybe because I think this had the opportunity to be a lot more subtle and instead they went down the "let's gratuitously kill a lot of people in gruesome ways" road.

Why would you be subtle when your whole goal is to be gratuitous?

Among the pilots, Superjail was maybe my favorite. It would have been my definite favorite if the violence were toned down a little. Really, those parts I got no enjoyment out of. It's the characters that made this one for me, particularly the Warden. The theme song was funny, too, an apparent dig on "Jailhouse Rock"... all in all, one of the stronger pilots.

What were you laughing at?  There weren't any jokes.  It was all just carnage and poor animation.

Great stuff there totally trippy insanity, though I kind of hope it doesn't becomes a regular series after more than a dozen episodes I doubt its going to hold up very well so much of its fun lies in its shock value and that's not the sort of thing you can sustain indefinately.

i'll enjoy the time its on

yeah, i love the squeeky terrified voices of the tomatos going "OH GOD, WE'ER F**KED!" :smileyvery-happy:

Tomatoe: Oh man, we're f*cked!!!

Zuchini: Relax tomatoe!!!

Carrot: Shut the **bleep** up Zuchini

Cabbage: Why would they cut the vegetable garden? After planting us and tending to us all these months! It just dosen't make any sense!!!

Smiling robot cuts mows them all and they all go "Ahhhh!"

----------------------------------

I think that a lot of the humor is subtle. It's really a combination of facial, body movement with the excelent voices. I mean the voice is everything, in this cartoon I think.

i have always been a fan of subtle humor. and just the bottle going "Hey bub, lil glass of me to get ya through it" just makes me smile
