No.  I agree with Venomlord.  Accel World would be better.

Would the toonami audience really like a show that's less about the game and more about two teenagers in a contrived romance? And the show is not that good.

If Toonami wanted a show about a game, they could do better, Dot hack for example. Or go with Accel World

Sorry to sound like a loser but is Accel World similar to SAO? I've only scrolled past it when I'm on hulu and stuff so I don't know what's it about.

Both have a decent amount of action, so I can't see why they can't air both.

Regardless of our individual personal opinions on the Black Dynamite TV series, we at the ASMB believe it is for the best that it is removed from the Saturday lineup as soon as possible. Because dammit, Space Dandymite deserves better than 800,000 viewers per week.

I thought the love and action kinda balanced each other out. Isn't Eureka 7 sorta similar to that though?

To be honest, Btooom! would fit better with the Toonami line up than either Sword Art Online or Accel World.

just going to sit that here for the people who say the word "action" like the show has to have all violence and little story

Eureka 7 was just written better. SAO in my opinon is badly written slop. Accel World is a little better but neither are even dubbed yet.

Saying a show is written worse than Emo Boy Renton and the murderous space hippies is a pretty damming argument.

I've pitched both BTOOOM and SAO with various other's when i fisrt joined, but no one here is really interested in the good shows..Even tho SAO(very very good show) wouldn't be perfect for the line up, BUT!!  BTOOOM def  is!!

I'm going to say no to this. It started out all well enough, but things went downhill rather quickly. If Toonami wants an Aniplex show, let it be Madoka or eventually Blue Exorcist.

Odds of B-TOOOM are pretty much zero unless the Anime Network loosens their grip on the broadcast rights to shows Sentai licenses.

Considering it's popularity, Madoka would be great to see on Toonami as well.  That and it's a amazing show.

I think you just illustrated his point. :smileyindifferent:
