So are these singing voices the Union? Does this represent the Union kicking ass and taking names on Alex Rosewater's corporate empire?
This Saturday, TOONAMI begins on a discordant note once again with Bleach stuck in Filler Hell with Episode 299 at midnight, but then after that, it's Naruto uncut Episode 27 "Special Report: Live From the Forest of Death" at 12:30. Then, it's Toonami's newest addition One Piece at 1 with Episode 208 and Soul Eater follows that at 1:30 with Episode 14 "Super Written Exam - Heart-pounding, Reeling, and Restless...?quot; Next is IGPX Episode 5 "Come Together" and Eureka 7 follows that at 2:30 with Episode 39 "Join The Future." ThunderCats is still roaring at 3 with Episode 7 "Legacy", then Sym-Bionic Titan plays "The Ballad of Scary Mary", Episode 11 &at 3:30; FMA: Brotherhood continues Season 2 with Episode 28 "Father" at 4 AM, and Cowboy Bebop reprises with "Ballad of Fallen Angels" Episode 5 at 4:30. Finally, if you stay up until 5 AM you're in for a treat: the "Fateful Night in Togenkyo" arc, Episodes 57 & 58 of premiere uncut InuYasha!

They do? I never heard of it. Besides, my dad already looks at me funny because I still watch "cartoons" and I'm in my early 30's. (I HAVE tio live with my parents, i donl;t have enough money for an apoartment of my own yet). can you imagine his face if i told him i wanted to drive 2 hours to the Harbor and go on the ferryboat to NY to attend a convention of "cartoons"?! he'd have me committed. besuides, going to NY itself ain't cheap! That's why I can only go once a year, on my birthday, to see a broadway show via my dad's birthday gift.

Alex is voiced by a great actor, Russel Thor. At the time he did this, about 10 years ago, he was like 72, now, he's like 81 or 82.

They play such exciting music, but really, that was like the most boring fight ever.

Big O just puts his hands on Big Fau's shoulders and... *shuts down*

Good thing there's 5 episodes left. Alex is down, but not out!

Check out what hair-brained scheme he comes up with to get the power back on next week...as if he couldn't just reroute power from the domes or something.

Oh well, ON to GITS and the end of the night--unless you feel like staying up to watch encores or InuYasha--which I might.

Nah, I'm not too fiond of THIS ep of Inuyahsa. Not so much for the main plot. (Sesshomaru may be a jackass, but he's fascinating) But because of the Inuyasha subplot.

What's this primitive analog VHS thing you are talking about?  Guess it could be worse... the courthouse where I work still has a Beta player...

They really need to do a remaster of Big-O on BRD.  Not that I own a BRD player, but if/when I get one would be nice to see Big-O in BRD glory.

Of course, that would also require a better audio play-back system.  My old Pioneer 350W stereo amp driving two old speaker arrays with 2x12"  woofers (older/shorter throw), one 5" mid range, and a tweeter.  I get the frequency play back, but lack the "feel."  Of course, have budgetary and neighbor limitations:smileytongue:  Would love to see Big-O in BRD format, and hear it on some high-end audio equipment (i.e. Paradigm speakers).  Heard a 7.2 setup with Paradigm's ... all I have to say is dayum...
