Yeah, it's totally awesome that Big O rises from the "grave" in 2011! But I'm sure it's just a placeholder for InuYasha: The Final Act, which might be ready by April or so.

And it's not like you have to stay up that late either! Back on January 12, 2008, Big O was the #1 rated show with 292,000 viewers, also in the 1:30 a.m. timeslot. Its reward for that appears to have come 3 years later as starting Jan. 1, 2011, it gets top billing amongst all the anime reruns!

Notice the same musical theme plays 3 different times with different instruments in this episode.

I have always regarded The Big O highly for its background music, which in my mind helps it achieve its masterpiece status! :smileyhappy:

Wish AS would get season 1 back.  For newcomers it would explain quite a bit.  For those just coming into the show, Ep. 14 won't make much sense... esp. Beck:smileyhappy:  Long Live Beck:smileyhappy:

As much as I like Big-O Season 2, Season 1 was better IMO.

No wait, actually the theme is played 4 different times, with one piano rendition a tad bit slower than the other.

Anyway, I love this episode because it's unlike anything in any other anime, or like any episode in the series. When I first saw it, I wasn't that fond of it, but it grew on me.

I dearly hope that this can bring in a few more fans. A LOT more fans. BIg O is probably the best I've ever seen.
