A) It wouldn't be Lazzo's decision alone to make, if it's even his decision at all anymore.

B) You and I might watch it, but past Nielsen data suggests that not enough other people would.

C) It's never going to happen. That ship has long since sailed.

Ohhh bull snot.  If crappy shows like super jail can get air time, they can squeeze in a 3rd season of Big O.  It was a terrific anime that didn't get the love, or advertising it deserved.

Superjail is probably created on a tiny fraction of the budget that a 13-episode anime season would require. And season 2 received a significant amount of promotion when it premiered, as did season 1 when it initially aired on Toonami. I remember seeing ads for it before I even knew what anime was.

Very true, I hope its a sign that the community is growing or at least resurging. The old Big O fan sites have been pretty dead for a couple of years. Maybe we can get the fan base re-energized. I know Season 3 is not possible since no one wants to pay for it, but maybe the community will grow enough to warrant more frequent showings at better time slots. Plus, never give up hope, Robotech is going to a live action movie 25 years later after all.

Since [as] has seemingly ceased airing season one, at least for the time being, maybe we could even get a do-it-yourself full series discussion going. Having a bunch of heads poring over each episode would be fun.

Id like to see season 3 but who knows how many people will be willing to watch it. I just hope there will be enough said from fans to convince them to continue with a season 3 project.

I'd watch season 3. then I'd make all my friends watch it. one of my friends laughed at Vera and made fun of her french accent, that why she watched all of season 2. then she said something along the lines of "they should make more of this, I like the explosions, sarcasticness and phsyology of it all"
