Even my favorite animes have episodes I can live with out. Beck's stuff is one for me with Big O. GitS has two -- the one with the boy and the drug runners, and Chat, Chat, Chat. Cowboy Bebop's got one, the Ep where Ed meets dad.
Too much parody in last week's ep for my liking. The transforming 'mech, the Indiana Jones thing ... just trying to be too much of what it isn't. Overall the series is dark and gritty, typical noir stuff... then comes this episode that almost feels like it's "filler" for Big O.
