Episode 13 was a real odd ball. I think, like Episode 26, it was meant to end the story in an obscure way. Perhaps there were talks about a Season 2 before they completed an ambiguous murder scene.

What exactly was the point of R Dorothy finding cigarette butts with the lipstick? Was that really intended to cause R Dorothy to go into a murderous jealousy rage? The cigarette butts with lipstick seem pointless with R D and R Dorothy as distinct characters.

I'm also confused about R D's purpose. R D was supposedly programmed 40 years ago to kill people with memories from 40 years ago.  Why would anyone rig an android to do that before the Event?

Pretty sure that a second season was planned at the time season one ended.

Err: RD != R. Dorothy.  Though, it does reaise the question of whether RD is just another incarnation of R. Dorothy in a different dimension, universe, simulation, etc.

There is always some degree of sexual tension between R. Dorothy and Roger Smith, just like there is between Angel and Roger Smith.  It also shows that R. Dorothy knows somebody else has been around, and gives info as to who that person is.

I just had a late-night though while reading the fora.

Of course, I'm not even sure that Ep. 26 actually shows reality at the end. 

At the end of Ep. 26, remember who was at the controls.  Remember who was with "Roger."  It wasn't Angel, that's for sure. 

Who's R. Dorothy based on?

Here's one thought ... could Red Destiny be one version of R. Dorothy created by "Angel" to represent her feelings about "Roger" and "Dorothy" being an "item?"

I think Red Destiny is Dorothys alter ego, due to a side effect of Beck's mind control machine he used on Dorothy in episode 9.
