Is it just me, or does the Union seem *way* more advanced that Paradigm city?  Paradigm City seems to experience the myopia and superiority complex that NYC is famous for.  Union, Union uber alles

I mean the Union can:

Make megadei self-assemble and levitate... beat that Paradigm dogs

The Union's psychotic kill-oriented cyborg.

It wouldn't surprise me that if there had been a third season, the Union was shown to be what's left of the originators of megadeus technology.  Note, that the three foreign, presumably Union, megadei were the only ones other than "bigs" to do large scale damage to Big-O.  Yes Osrail, the ghost 'mech, did slag some armour, and the phonosonic 'mech caused damage, but nothing quite like hte arm amputation.

I will concede that Bonaparte had issues, but still a megadeus that moves by itself, levitates,a nd assembles itself is pretty impressive.  Given the pretty obvious Germanic references in the Union, why on Earth name it Bonaparte?  Name it Bismarck or something
