*takes a look*

Holy crap...you're right. :smileysurprised: I completely missed that myself. I'm not sure what this means for the show's broadcast rights (if anything), but I'll try to track down some more info.

What's the "chimera" episode?  What number?  I don't remember that, but it's been an assload of time since I've seen Season 1...

This Saturday, TOONAMI begins on a discordant note once again with Bleach stuck in Filler Hell with Episode 299 at midnight, but then after that, it's Naruto uncut Episode 27 "Special Report: Live From the Forest of Death" at 12:30. Then, it's Toonami's newest addition One Piece at 1 with Episode 208 and Soul Eater follows that at 1:30 with Episode 14 "Super Written Exam - Heart-pounding, Reeling, and Restless...?quot; Next is IGPX Episode 5 "Come Together" and Eureka 7 follows that at 2:30 with Episode 39 "Join The Future." ThunderCats is still roaring at 3 with Episode 7 "Legacy", then Sym-Bionic Titan plays "The Ballad of Scary Mary", Episode 11 &at 3:30; FMA: Brotherhood continues Season 2 with Episode 28 "Father" at 4 AM, and Cowboy Bebop reprises with "Ballad of Fallen Angels" Episode 5 at 4:30. Finally, if you stay up until 5 AM you're in for a treat: the "Fateful Night in Togenkyo" arc, Episodes 57 & 58 of premiere uncut InuYasha!

More on The Big O Season 1 Airing on [as] Gold:

http://www.adultswim.com/shows/the-big-o/index.html

It's the first 8 episodes, listed with an expiration date of Monday, January 30, 2012. I wonder if that means they'll cycle to the next 8 in February, then finish with the last 7 in March. What this means for the TV airing, I can't be sure.

Well, for me it doesn't matter ... Midcontinent Communications isn't partnered with AS apparently.  Guess they didn't pony up enough money, or we're just to unimportant out here on the Northern Plains.

Episode #8 is the chimera.

Oh yeah, the Big O episode that would show on "Caturday".

If my theory is correct, [as] will be giving us Heaven's Day in February, which might be closer to the actual day God's Son was born, ironically.

That is, of course, assuming that there is a god.

I wonder if the HD versions mean somewhere there will be a BRD release?  Really annoyed that AS/CN doesn't partner with Midco out here.  Yes, we're remote.  Yes, ND, SD, MT, and WY have fewer total people than NYC, but gosh-golly we are cable subscribers too.

If they didn't even partner with Time Warner Cable, I'm guessing that your cable provider was much further down the priority list.

This pleases me greatly.

Hopefully they go back to episode 1 after they finish the current run on TV.

Y'know, on second thought, maybe I shouldn't ask DumpTruck about this, in case it's some sort of happy accident. :smileyvery-happy:

I was in joy when I heard (Thanks Sketchor for pointing it out to me in Show Suggestions since I don't visit this folder much.). I wonder if this has something to do with the Bandai situation.

Anyway, after having seen season 2 get replayed OVER 9,000 times, I finally have the chance to legally watch season 1 (I'm currently focusing on buying other things, so that's why I didn't mention the DVD, or the Blu-ray box-I do intend on importing. Hoping good sales=Season3). I saw episodes 1 and 2 on Sunday, and I must say, that is much, much better than most episodes of season 2.

Anime would pretty much have to have a massive rebirth in ratings popularity for Season 3 to happen. But this is ridiculous: they OWN Season 2 and yet it's not online right now. They DID show Season 1 on [as] Gold in January and February, but me having a 2nd-rate cable provider, was never able to see it. And now in March...NOTHING. Not even a continuation of the "run" that was started in January.

Well, I guess I should still be glad it's on weekly on Saturday nights at 3 AM/2 C. But I wish they had gotten the TV rights to Season 1 as well as the Internet rights so they could start it on March 24 (My 31st Birthday). But apparently that's not the case.

It's funny that a google search brings me back to this place. Interesting to see that they have/had the rights to show season 1 on the internet. Season 2 is great and everything but the first season just had so much style and quite frankly it would be an incredible novelty at this point.

Well, well, well...look who came crawling back. By which I mean the first season that helps explain the 13 episodes that have been airing on TV for years.

IMO Season 1 was in some respects better than Season 2.  Season 2 kind of wandered off a bit.  I wasn't that big a fan of all the "tributes" so-to-speak in S2.
