Up to this point, all talk of Season 4 has been from voice actors. But now, on their Facebook page Adult Swim has announced the fourth season is coming with the post "The revolution will be televised. The Boondocks is back for season 4. adultswim.com/theboondocks"

I hope that Jazmine will be in this season. She wasn't really my favorite at first, but I'm actually growing to like her. I think she's adorable and we need cuteness on this show. And plus I'm a big Juey shipper .

Uh, why wouldn't she be? She's one of the central characters of the series and has been featured in every season. Kinda goes without saying that Jasmine would be there.

They've been in every season so I'd be extremely shocked if they weren't. Not like they're just one-off characters so it's really not something people should worry about.

Didn't Aaron McGruder said last season was going to be the final season? Is he still going to be working on it? Anybody hear anything? Because I really hope they're not going to try to make it without the original creator. (But they have the rights to it--so legally I believe they can do whatever they want.)

Well, John Witherspoon and Regina King have mentioned Aaron when talking about Season 4, so yes, I believe Aaron will still be involved.

Only because, honestly, I think that she's kind of a useless character for what the show is, and I can't really see her character progressing as the series goes on, but I think she that she would be good for Huey, since they are best friends. I ship Juey.

Don't worry =). Of course Aaron wil continue the series. After all The Boondocks is his creation .

I didn't pay any attention to this show for so long. . . I think it's one of [as] best. . . dialoge and plot EXcellent. . . seasons 1-3 were good throughout.

ah, but this is the best Adult Swim Original available in terms of ratings and viewer opinion

its one of the few originals they currently air that both bring in the ratings and vast majority of people like.

Adult Swim can't really afford to let it go easily. It Makes them too much money.

Also I heard a nasty rumor tonight that John Witherspoon passed away.  If this is true, we might not see a Season 4 after all.

Or maybe Uncle Ruckus could be introduced as the boys' Godfather and they could go to live with him, except they would also inherit the house so he would come to live with THEM.

Could set up some interesting storylines...

John Witherspoon is very much alive. He squashed those death rumors weeks ago on his twitter account (@john_pops_spoon). In fact, earlier this week he tweeted that he was recording for the upcoming season. Regina King (Huey and Riley), John Witherspoon (Uncle Ruckus), and Cedric Yarbrough (Tom, Stinkmeaner) have also tweeted that they've been working on the fourth season.

Oh yeah, that's right. Ruckus and Robert are both played by John, so that storyline wouldn't work. But this does bring up an interesting question, if Robert did die, then who would be Huey and Riley's godfather? I'm thinking Tom.

But yeah, I'm glad to know my friend was just full of it!
