After watching the 13th episode of boondocks(Fried Chicken Flu), my theory on Jazmine liking Huey has rised. Does anyone agree with me? She compliments him a lot and understands him a lot more than the other characters. Then Huey was a lot nicer to her this episode. Also, did anyone notice that she was wearing his shirt later on in the show. Huey had on a brown button up, collar shirt and then later on Jazmine had it on.

Yeah I always suspected she had a crush on him. But I have no idea why she likes him.

Jazmine likes huey but  huey doesnt like her. jazmine is annoying to him but i guess he has to deal with it.

i think jazmine likes huey, but hes not interested. he looks at her as a fried who will listen to him. i dont think hes annoyed with her at all. in the comic strip, maybe, but not on the show. hes also shown that he cares about her because he tried to close down her lemonade stand. also in the most recent episode, how he had actually planned to save only jazmine, besides himself and his family. so he at least puts her ahead of everybody else.

I don't think Jazmine necessarily has a crush on Huey - she might be too young for that. I think she just knows that she likes him and/or finds him interesting.

And I don't think Huey dislikes Jazmine either, except for the fact that she's very childish. But I think he also has some level of appreciation for that childishness, because Jazmine is pure. She isn't as corrupted as most of the people on the show. And, she has this positivity that's specific to children because she hasn't been enlightened or exposed to all the shittiest things in the world or in people. Which is like-- probably a source of irritation for Huey, but at the some time, there's an endearing quality to the ignorance of children.

In my opinion, there's no doubt that Jazmine probably cares a lot about Huey.  Maybe even loves him - but not necessarily in a romantic way. 

Someone mentioned the lemonade stand episode.  I don't know if that would necessarily prove much about Huey's feelings about Jazmine.  Huey just dislikes greed, corruption, unfairness, extortion and capitalism - and the guy who extorted Jazmine represented all of that.

But, that being said... I honestly think Huey cares for Jazmine.  Maybe he doesn't want to admit that he likes someone so naive or something lol.  Maybe we'll get some more answers in the season finale tonight

Jazmine is probably the person Huey cares about most outside of his immediate family. Throughout the seasons there have been signs that he does, in fact, value/respect her...handing her his scarf during the lemonade episode, letting her be his apprentice during "The Passion of Uncle Ruckus," having her help him fix the generator, inviting her to his house during the epidemic, etc. His frustration with her was more in season 1, and by season 3 he is very rarely annoyed with the gal, even when the others around him (namely, Riley) seem to be.

I'm not sure if Jazmine likes Huey in a romantic sense...they're 10 after all, lol. But she does look up to him, especially in these later episodes, and admires him to a certain extent. I think Jazmine is the character that has developed the most over the three seasons--from a naive crybaby in season 1 to her current, more mature state (probably from Huey's influence, and also from just growing up).

If they were older, I'd definitely say this pairing contains significant potential, since Jazmine is prob the girl Huey cares about most (as she is the only other individual his age he even talks to), and vice versa. Sometimes I wish McGruder would create a "flash-forward" episode, where we see what happens to the characters when they're older, lol. But I also like the show as it is. As things currently are, I think it's enough to know that Huey and Jazmine are the most important members of the opposite sex to each other right now...not necessarily in a romantic sense (as they are still kids), but I think this is somewhat indicative.

I think Jasmine has a crush on Huey but I don't think Huey has a crush on Jasmine. I think that he cares for her as a friend but as the romantic sense I don't think so. Maybe if they continue the series maybe they can have a little love connection going on but Idk they're I think that they're kind of young for that

she'll probably end up with Riley later on because Huey will be all busy with his causes. Then he will realize how much he cares about her when he sees the way Riley treats here. Riley's pimp hand will be strong by then

Man, I am nearly 20 and even though I like anime I have never been attached to any romance between any other characters, but Huey and Jazmine. Why am I so connected to the show that I so desperately want to see two 10 year olds fall in love? Maybe I need to get out more, or maybe is because the show is so great I am completely hooked and need it to happen to fill a void in my own childhood life.... *sigh* Is it really bad to want this?

If they make a movie there must be a scene where they kiss. Maybe at the end or make it part of the plot. I dunno. Is it bad to be a fanboy of a show that is probably not going to continue?

I dont know... I do know that I want a 4th season and so Ihave bought all 3 seasons on DVD maybe that will get someones attention that we really want this show to continue.

Sorry if I sound like a perv, but huey and jazmine is a very sexy thing that should definetly happen.

i cant imagine huey kissing jazmine, i dont think he likes her like that. the way i see it, i think jazmine not only likes huey as a friend, but is also attracted to him. i also think huey is aware of this, but ignores it. i could imagine a scene where jazmine kisses huey, maybe on his cheek or something. his reaction would be one of surprise and embarassment.
