Well sorta   I saw a bump on AS that asked if Huey ever smiled, and they said no.

But I'm watching The Boondocks episode right now where The Woodcrest Harmonious Kickball team face off against the Chinese Kickball team, and Wunsler blackmails Huey with a photoshopped picture of him wearing Kanye get up... and in the pic... HE IS SO SMILING!!  lmao!

Lol, so maybe it doesn't count... but I thought I should mention it on the boards

Do you guys think it should count as an official Huey Freeman smile?

no, but Huey does smile on the episode called Ballin' where his brother Riley plays basketball. He smiles when riley makes hes first shot.

Also, as for "Ballin'", Huey only smiles IN RILEY'S DREAM, IIRC. It's not in the "real" plane of existence either, so it doesn't count. Aaron demanded Huey can't laugh or smile, but I guess he still can in others' heads without breaking the "demand"

yeah, but I was trying to point out "animated/drawn" it didn't have contextual qualifiers: photoshop and dreams would therefore count, I mean, no prior exclusions were listed

Hello! Peopl, Huey didn't smile in riley's dream, he actually smiled while Riley played which was surprising. Then he smiled in season one.....um...I forgot which episode where he fights Riley. He smiled when he held the sword against Riley's kneck. He smiled on Home Alone to if you guys didn't notice when Grandad returned home. It was cute how happy him and Riley were to see him their crazy grandad.

Hmmm...really? It could be that Aaron McGruder had not yet demanded that in Season 1, and they slipped and did it again in Season 2, but he let it fly. Or perhaps the demand was only for Season 3? I guess we'll never know what the hell that bump was really talking about!

He's got a point there; it would be unnatural for Grandpa to get home, freeing them from the hell of being home alone, and Huey not to smile just a little out of relief!

Sorry but no. The only time that Huey smiled was " Lets nab oprah","The block is hot", and "ballin". He actaully cried in the last episode of season one.
