In the video, it says 'season finale'. In the unofficial trailer released months ago, it said 'final season'. Also, Aaron McGruder tweeted that this is probably the final season, but then said that Sony told him to stop calling it that. His Twitter account is gone now.

Bittersweet for me. This looks to be a great episode, but I don't know if I'll enjoy it entirely, knowing that it may be the last one for good. I don't mind the two year turn around from season to season, I've accepted that, and I'm hoping most fans have as well. If this is the series finale, I'd at least like to see a Boondocks movie that Aaron McGruder hinted at.

I agree. Enjoying the last episode of any television series is hard for the fact that you know its the end. One thing about me though, and I'm sure some of you guys too, is that no matter how good or bad the episode is your going to try to enjoy it for its the end. I'm also hoping for a movie as well.

I guess it is starting to show the signs though... I mean in the last episode Ruckus finally realized that he shouldn't hate black people... he just feels sorry for them for being "inferior" to whites lol.   That's probably the best we'll ever get from him though   I'm looking forward to seeing hopefully other loose ends tied in the last episode.  And hopefully there will be a movie

Instead of a live movie, I would prefer it animated just like the show. Anyone else agree? Or maybe its just me :/

Man, this episode's gonna be epic! Or at least it better be, because it might be the last one ever! But then again, maybe it is just a season finale and there will be a Season 4 someday...but then again, all good things must come to an end.

In other news, it seems that the ratings might have been good enough for [as] to just go ahead and give the Boondocks reruns the 11:30 Sunday timeslot for the rest of the year, and put Venture Brothers or Metalocalypse on at midnight. If not...well at least they've got the 11:30 Saturday timeslot!

I hope there'll be a season 4. The Boondocks has been the most watched show on Sunday nights on Adult Swim, also millions more who have to watch it online. If anything, that proves that the fanbase is established and constantly growing, even with the long gaps between seasons. Just the way the episodes have been in the second half of this season, I get this sense that this is the last episode, but I'd at least like to know why McGruder shut it down.

Don't quote me on this but I read somewhere that McGruder was going to be writing for a live action sitcom...which is why Boondocks will be over. He didn't want to leave the series in someone elses hands only to have them ruin the show. He'd much rather it just be over.

Oh man,that episode was tha s&$t!!! Huey havin 2 work wit tha MAN 2 prevent Woodcrest from gettin blown up?!?!? WHAAATT??? And Uncle Ruckus-where'd those fightin' skills come from??? LMAO. This episode certainly didn't feel like a SERIES finale, though it was an epic SEASON finale! Maybe McGruder took note of the ratings he saw for Season 3 and went back on his former claim that there would not be a Season 4! Bring it on...in Summer 2012!

The Jack Flowers girls meeting their ends was kinda funny, but definitely has to be classified as dark comedy!
