There weren't really any continuity issues with 'The Hunger Strike,' the episode just aired out of order. If you'll remember, there was a month-long hiatus between 'Home Alone' and 'The S-Word'.

I'll trust you, but only because I'm too lazy to look it up.

War brings people together through a deep affirmation of mortality and the complete and total devastation of the hopes and dreams of millions of young men and women.
Also Heroin was popular back then.

So they aren't Stinkmeaner's siblings?

It may just be a sense of unity through hate. Kind of like how last season's episode ended with Stinkmeaner and Ruckus.
that makes a bit of sense, kind of a respect thing maybe but
they call them his posse' and it just goes against what we
were told about the lore of stinkmeaner.

One, I agree with the war/bonded by hate line of reasoning.
A couple theories I have:
Isn't it possible that this "crew" was sent from Hell to cause a ruckus (no pun intended) in the Black community?
They're not friends so much as minions or disciples of Stinkmeaner/the Devil.
Also, in the original Stinkmeaner episode how omniscient is Huey as a narrarator?
When he says Stinkmeaner died alone, that may have been true from Huey's perspective...but perhaps the Col. had some allies (not frineds, but like-minded acquaintences) that Huey was unaware of?
All I'm saying is that it's probably not a continuity error at all, just information that the viewer was not privy to up until this point.

Just saw the Boondocks Bootleg preview (the :44 second clip), and all I can say is...D'oh!
A-Mac (much like Bruce Timm and Dwayne McDuffie before him) is a master of his own universe.
How dare we even suggest that MacGruder contradicted himself. The clip clearly states that his crew is neither friend nor family...but merely a bunch of Hennessey sippin', Kool smokin' old-a$$ nyugahs who liked to stir stuff up.
That being said, "The Hateocracy" looks to be an epic episode and a fitting close (?) to the Stinkmeaner trilogy.

I don't think Stinkmeaner is based off of any old television character. Some people have noted similarities with Stinkmeaner and Clayton Bigsby, a character in a Season 1 episode sketch from Dave Chappelle's show.

StinkMeaner and Clayton Bigsby would be totally different.
Bigsby was a black KKK ... who only hated Blacks. StinkMeaner on the other hand hated everybody. If anything you'd have to put StinkMeaner + Uncle Ruckus to equal Clayton Bigsby. ![]()
And yeah... StinkMeaner more or less is an original creation not based on anyone from Black comedies of the late 60s / early 70s.

Bumping this topic up, because Stinkmeaner's posse just made national news. Apparently they've been in Philly.
