I liked the episode.
Definitely worth watching.
They took this and ran with it.
Just in case nobody knew.

It was a pretty good episode, it pales in comparison to last week's phenomonal "Hateocracy"...but it was still solid.
I think it was the weakest episode of the season, but there were still a lot of funny elements. For some reason it just didn't "click" with me though.

Where there some references to the movie "Juice" in here, or was that just my imagination?

Man this episode was kinda twisted O_O
At first I thought this episode was gonna be like The Good Son, but then I found out that this was based on real events.
Holy crap...

The most exciting part of the show was when Huey ate the popcorn.
That's some good popcorn

I agree! I laughed myself silly at that right there! ![]()
As for the episode, yeah it's probably the weakest of the season, but it's still good enough for 9.5/10!

Yeah, it was kinda funny how Huey just didn't give a darn about his brother getting his butt spanked!!!
But that paled in comparison to Uncle Ruckus' cameo IMHO!

Only the 7-year old driving the car part!
I mean, who would mix pee and hot sauce and put that concoction in a squirt gun? That part wasn't based on real life, thank God!

lol you mean when riley was getting his butt whooped by grandad! i kinda felt sorry for him right there, and throughout the episode as lamilton kept harassing him. i thought i saw some good son, halloween, it, juice references. i liked this episode, had some dark humor, but we saw a side of riley we dont see often. even though riley wants to think that he's 'gangsta,' hes just a normal 8 year old kid in the suburbs living a (somewhat) sheltered life.

I feel like the comedic parts were only included to provide some levity in the face of a truly dark plot
good episode

what was the song playing when they were fighting on the roof

I'm not sure what the actual song was...but it was a play on "Know The Ledge" from Juice (Eric B & Rakim).
Also, I may be the only one who thought this; but...
When Dr. Dumas came in, I honestly thought they were going into a riff on the X-Men (ie. a school for gifted bad-azz kids).

I didn't really like it. They could've made a point with it, but it kind've meandered and then ended abruptly.
And the next episode is another Riley-heavy episode. I miss when Huey wasn't a secondary background character.
