Well, in about 10 minutes we'll find out if this episode will live up to others this series or it's just full of PlSS and Vinegar...or rather urine and hot sauce! :smileyvery-happy:

Wow, I can't believe no one's commented on this...and the episode is probably almost over now.  I'm watching it on 20-minute delay...

Episode 6: Smokin' With Cigarettes

Reply to DXLelouch - Message ID#: 54596077

It was a pretty good episode, it pales in comparison to last week's phenomonal "Hateocracy"...but it was still solid.

I think it was the weakest episode of the season, but there were still a lot of funny elements.  For some reason it just didn't "click" with me though.

At first I thought this episode was gonna be like The Good Son, but then I found out that this was based on real events.

As for the episode, yeah it's probably the weakest of the season, but it's still good enough for 9.5/10!

Yeah, it was kinda funny how Huey just didn't give a darn about his brother getting his butt spanked!!!

But that paled in comparison to Uncle Ruckus' cameo IMHO!

Only the 7-year old driving the car part!

I mean, who would mix pee and hot sauce and put that concoction in a squirt gun?  That part wasn't based on real life, thank God!

lol you mean when riley was getting his butt whooped by grandad! i kinda felt sorry for him right there, and throughout the episode as lamilton kept harassing him. i thought i saw some good son, halloween, it, juice references. i liked this episode, had some dark humor, but we saw a side of riley we dont see often. even though riley wants to think that he's 'gangsta,' hes just a normal 8 year old kid in the suburbs living a (somewhat) sheltered life.

Been called the weakest of the Season, but I think it was one of the funniest and most hilarious of the season and the series. I couldn't stop laughing at Dr. Doomis, the whole reference to that fat kid was amazing, and making Riley the whiney punk-b*tch he really is was fantastic. Also, it was one of the few episodes where I picked on on the references to other media really quickly, the Obama episode I found the references after the fact, I didn't pick up on Rags to **unF** references until after as well, I thought The Red Ball was just a general Anime Reference(and I still haven't seen Shaolin Soccer, though I finished Samurai Shamploo, and hence saw Baseball Blues, recently), I picked up on the Sandford and Son references in The Hateocracy a little to late, so this episode hit home. Maybe it was just me, though still I think that they were all extrordinarily amazing.

Episode 6: Smokin' With Cigarettes

Reply to Meta77 - Message ID#: 54596838

I'm not sure what the actual song was...but it was a play on "Know The Ledge" from Juice (Eric B & Rakim).

Also, I may be the only one who thought this; but...

When Dr. Dumas came in, I honestly thought they were going into a riff on the X-Men (ie. a school for gifted bad-azz kids).

Once upon a time, there was a woman picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the Snake answered, "Look Btch, you knew I was a snake."

I didn't really like it.  They could've made a point with it, but it kind've meandered and then ended abruptly.

And the next episode is another Riley-heavy episode.  I miss when Huey wasn't a secondary background character.
