I haven't gone back and watched it a second time, but that episode really didn't do anything for me. The writers really were desperate for ideas if they were making up scripts as they went along and recording the first drafts (which is what "Shadows" seems like).

       Haha, it's true!  I'd completely forgotten that there was a second British mom.  They're both cool, but there's something about that first one.  Her voice brings up images of bomb shelters and vaccuuming in pearls.

I liked all the earlier episodes. I hated Splat though. I've only seen it three times. I've watched the DVDs so much that the first volume didn't play properly anymore and I had to buy a new one. But I always skip past Splat on volume 2.

Cos it's a horrible episode full of horribleness. And was a bit OOC but by that time they'd gotten so wacky with the storylines. I'm pretty sure if Zorak could regenerate being blasted, he could do the same with being run over. Hello? Exoskeleton!! Yeah those eps were going downhill in my opinion. I remember watching volume 1 for the first time and laughing so much that my head hurt.
