Hrm, does the clip of this show remind anyone else of a SNL skit? Something about a bird who keeps collecting nu.ts for a squirrel, keeps getting paid 2 dollars, buys a whiskey for $1, and does the same thing 3 times until he has $4 which is enough to buy a gun, then he kills himself. Heh, sounds like an adult swim show...

That short was called Maakies. But yes, it's the same thing essentially. From the same creator w/the same characters. Check out the stickied thread "Drinky Crow Show??????" at the top of the page.

No,  it was made by Tony Millionaire I believe. But it was featured on SNL as a TV Funhouse short.

I was under the impression that Robert Smigel was the lead animator for TV Fun House, oh well, looks good either way.

Actually, it may not have even been presented under the TV Funhouse section of SNL.. I could be wrong on that.

Woah, They Might Be Giants does music for this show. That's always good to hear. I can't believe how fast the TV funhouse show got cancelled. It was so great, if adult swim absolutely has to have live action why can't they fund new episodes of that?...

I haven't seen that show in a loooong time. I'd like to check it out again. I remember it being far f-ing out. And Triumph the insult comic dog was in an episode... that's always funny.
