Ok, this has been discussed ad nauseum, to be sure, but I would like to determine (once and for all) whether or not the series has a chance at ever being resurrected, if not by AS, then perhaps on another, competing-for-the-same-audience-and-time-slot network, such as Comedy Central, Spike, et al. Is it possible? What do any and all of you think / know? Tony Millionaire himself says (via my communications with him over Facebook) that "Drinky Crow is dead," and seems resigned to this 'fact,' however, there is a Facebook fan page for the series which currently boasts 2,354 members (as of Mon 27 Feb 2010).
Many of these fans are definitely very interested in seeing the series revived for more seasons, including of course, myself. I thought it was wonderfully wacky, albeit somewhat twisted and gross at times. I take weird humor very seriously, and know of the secret power that it often has, to actually change things for the better. Now is not the time to get into the philosophical details... The 3D-to-2D animation style itself was pretty groundbreaking, and certainly will inspire generations of animators to come. The episode stories ranged from pretty good to great, in my opinion, and of all of the shows that AS has rolled out over the past five years, I feel strongly that TDCS was definitely one of the best (along with "Stroker and Hoop" and the "Snake 'n' Bacon" pilot).
If anyone else here has similar feelings, please join the aforementioned Drinky Crow fan page on Facebook, and also be sure to friend Tony Millionaire on Facebook as well:
