I blame TBS for not wanting to share Conan.
They can keep him. I never found him funny tbh.
He's an ok guy, just not that funny.

In before Jeebus attempts to turn this argument around by insulting Adult Swim's anime acquisitions

He's funnier than the putrid mess that the animu tries to pass off as comedy.

But you got to admit that Coco is funnier than Fallon, Leno, Ferguson, and Daily. The only other late-night talk show host that's on par with him (or rather, Conan on par w/ him) has to be Letterman. Big up to the talk-show host god.
The real question is: does [as] need a talk show? The Eric Andre show has 10 episodes to prove itself with the audience; chances of it getting another season seems low.

Chances are low already? It hasn't even premiered yet - and it's a talk show parody so it's going to not going to be like the others . And it's well established this is not AS's first foray into a talk show parody.

I would rather see SGC2C get renewed instead of a talk show parody that's hosted by an unknown (and unfunny) comedian.
Yes, I know of no man or woman who doesn't wish to see Space Ghost rise from the ashes and come back to our TV screens.
But I wouldn't mind having Eric Andre show on as well; show looks like it has potential.

If that were to happen, I would travel to Atlanta just to throw eggs at the William's Street office.
Space Ghost is the host with the most, not the guest with less.

The desk of Tad Ghostal is not one taken up lightly. So there's going to be a very high standard expected out of any new show.

I'm a huge SGC2C fan, and I don't think it was callously killed off. It ran for almost a hundred episodes. It had a great run, and that run had to end at some point. I'm actually glad they stopped where they did, instead of running it into the ground like ATHF.

oh no! his soup is too hot and he has to eat it fast!
thats so funny that i CHANGED THE CHANNEL
if your goal is to loose your extreemly loyal fan base in exchange for a temporary fan base from some bizzarre 'click' thats guarnteed not to last, then GO FOR IT. its a phase, a fad, a trend. i cant see this beng a good investment on AS's behalf. i personally dispize ALL OF the live action shows adult swim found under some rock. i wish they left the garbage in the garbage can.

Well, it hasn't aired yet so you're in luck, it premieres Sunday 12:30am and it's a talk show parody hosted by Eric Andre and "apathetically" co-hosted by Hannibal Buress, set on a dingly public access set with a miture of "real life celebrities, celebrity impersonators and extreme real life weirdos" while the host is crazy as a hell and described as "manic and bipolar". If you want to oversimplify it, you can call it a live action Space Ghost meets Tim and Eric kind of deal

Anime comedy is for a very niche cult audience, I don't deny that. And that being said, its imported. For an American comedian, Conan is incredibly stale in his delivery. He seems to be a nice guy but he has zilch talent. There's a good reason they brought Jay Leno back.

To answer your first question, I'd say he's funnier than Jimmy Fallon, but not the rest. I like Carson Daily, though I never took his show as being about comedy amirite?
Uh -- about the talk show -- why not just bring back Space Ghost? What I think happened is that this idiot knows somebody or he or his ppl opted to front the entire production budget of the show --- thus saving [as] a lot of production expenditures.....

Yeah we know. But you know also, the last one was Space Ghost....which was....ya know -- A CARTOON. On CARTOON NETWORK. It was actually funny. It wasn't emo humor disguised as comedy.

Uh, not true sorry. Around 2004ish @ the height of the anime peak [as]/CN corporate decided it was time to increase profits by eating the production budget to 'reduce costs' & to 'increase profit margins' -- this led to the axing/non-renewal of several amazing anime series over the coming years & also the axing of SGC2C, Brak, & several other shows. They all gave stories like 'oh yeah they all moved on' -- when in reality [as] gave them an ultimatum to reduce the budget or move on to other endeavors, they chose the latter.
This is also what led to our getting TGTTM & the subsequent tsunami of live-action no-budgeted garbage that's currently infesting the line up with abysmal ratings. What's odd is that, @ the time SGC2C had what was @ the time considered a rock-bottom budget by other networks' standards. ATHF also was considered low budget. Now those are considered expensive in comparison to the garbage they have no. In the Bush decade rush to pocket payroll & production budgets in order to increase short term profiteering they turned low budget into expensive.

They say once every month, a cranky and bitter westpark appears out of the darkness to roam the folder of a post-2004 adult swim comedy and leave behind dozens of new nonsensical rants and ramblings regarding the great conspiracy that resulted in "the decline of adult swim."
