I had never seen this. Pretty cool. They said that they are in "negotiations" to do 14 more episodes. Hopefully that happens. It's hard to tell sometimes the method in Adult Swim's madness, but yes, I am also begging for more. From what they were saying, it seems like Lazzo really likes the show, which is sometimes more of a factor than the ratings it gets. And the ratings seemed decent for late weeknights at 12:30--around the 450K range. Which is par for the course for original comedies not named Robot Chicken or The Boondocks.
I thought it was interesting that they said the budget is actually pretty good. Good to see that Adult Swim gives the creators the money they need. They at least had enough money to cook up 100 chicken dinners and make 100 free hats.
I also thought it was sort of funny that Patton Oswalt was totally overshadowed by John Lee in that video.
