Favorite Songs/Crimps

We all know that the songs/crimps are one of the things that gives the boosh that extra spice, extra umph, that makes it such an entertaining show. Not only are they funny but they are also very catchy and you find yourself randomly singing them. I've taught my friends and siblings who have never seen an episode whole crimps because I sing them so much :smileyvery-happy:

So, What is your favorite song or crimp?

My favorite song has to be Married on the Morrow from the radio series. I can listen to this song over and over and never tire from it.....it's so soothing.

"Watch it Moon or i'll be all over you like a nun sandwich."

I love them all, but I'm always drawn back to one of the classics...

Soup, soup, a tasty soup, soup!
A spicy carrot and
coriander!
Chilli Chowder!

CROUTON CROUTON!
Crunchy friends in a liquid
broth!
I am dispatchio, oh!
I am missala soho.
Miso Miso!
Fighting in the Dojo,
Miso Miso!

Oriental friends in the land of SOUP!

Ah, classic times...crazy days.

Vince Noir: Howard... Howard... Howard... Howard... Howard... Howard... Howard... Howard... Howard...Howard?
Howard Moon: This better be good.
Vince Noir: You know the black bits in bananas, are they tarantulas' eggs?
Howard Moon: Please don't speak to me ever again in your life.

The Tundra Rap. I've listened to it over and over for a few days, hung out with a few friends and sung it a few times last night. Haven't even seen its episode yet, but I love it.

That and the pancake thing from Journey to The Centre of The Punk.

Whenever somebody even mentions soup I have to go through the soup crimp. If they're lucky I'll just go through the "Miso Miso. Fighting in the dojo. Miso miso. Oriental prince in the land of soup!" It's a good thing I don't work at a restaurant.

Aside from that I think my other favorites are the Cheese Song and Electro-Boy. They're all good though.

Crimp,

Twisty :

Oo Oo Oo

I did a twisty

Oo Oo Oo

A tiny twisty

TWIST him up

twist him down

twist him all around

LIKE the COBRA

Dancing to the music of

The Pipe, The Pipe, The Pipe

The Pipe of Life

Aa Ee Ai Ee ah ee Ai

Kalamar Shalamar

Cinema in the night

It's such a good thing

DON'T forget to bring

Popcorn Tony and his

Paper Castle.

Song,

Hippy Nonsense :

Follow me

Forget the World

Look around at the wonders of nature

Never fear

Everything is here

And you don't need your friends or family, or family

Come with me

And then you will see everything you need within life

Hey Oo Its easy letting go

When nothing before was real

Look into our eyes

you can see the future

Look into our eyes

we can see your soul

We will be together

everything....(It gets voiced over at this point)

Listen to your heart

Everything is good here

Nothing before was real

Never fear everything is here

and you don't need your friends or family

(repeat over lapping the course)

Howard: I'll fly at cha like a bag of Cocks!
Vince: And you will recieve him like a satchel of vaagina's
Vince: Ooo..Tag team put down!

"Wait Jargon Foley. Jar of Pickles Ogly. Jarvision Voly. What....what's your name again?"-Anani

I downloaded most of the songs from the show-they are always stuck in my head. I think I like the Hippy Nonsense/Yeti Song , Isolation, and Married on the Morrow best. Oh and the illustrations for the crimps in the book are AMAZING.

"Soup soup a tasty soup soup"

just that part of the crimp is stuck in my head. I find myself randomly muttering it then I have to do the whole crimp out loud. My fav song tho is 'Future Sailors." I'm rocking that as my ringtone right now. I laugh everytime my phone rings.

Vince-I just narrowly avoided a bumming from Grizzly Adams!

-Killeroo.....that beat and bass are AMAZING

-Future Sailors

-I love the chosen one

-Cheese is a kind of meat

-Mod Wolves/Mr.Moon.....used to be my alarm until I realized that I didn't want to start hating the song cause it'd be responsible for waking me up.

-Nanageddon

-Ape of Death.....Julian knows how to shred

-Searching for the New Sound

-The New Sound

-Electro Boy/Girl

-Tundra Rap

-Pancake Crimp

Gaaaahhhhhh. I love every song. Julian is amazing. I love their music and I love the fact that they have musical numbers in their show.

I like the "Alabaster Moon" and "Married on the Morrow" songs from the Radio Show a lot.... and Eels and Future Sailors from the TV show.

In fact I feel down right cheated there isn't more of the Future Sailors song!! I really hope they make a full album of all the songs... the little snippets just aren't enough.

My favorite "Crimp" is Bouncy... even in a crappiest of crappy moods it makes me smile. :smileyvery-happy:

I was actually waiting for last night's episode just to hear that song. I can't wait for the Hitcher's song. Which episode was that again?

The Hitcher's song is in the episode "Hitcher". It's the last episode of series one, so it'll be a few weeks. :smileyhappy:

I love many of the songs and crimps, so chosing a favorite would be hard.

I do love "Ice Floe" (yes, it IS F.L.O.E. not f.l.o.w.!...sorry, pet peeve of mine since trying to find it on Youtube by spelling it correctly) or "Tundra Rap", of you prefer. That could just be because it was just on last night, and I'd watched it earlier in the week on DVD.

I'm afraid I'd have to do a Top 5 (or Top 10, heh) for each series.

From the radio show, I like "Alabaster Moon", "Married on the Morrow" and "Monkeys Stole My Face".

I like most of the crimps, so I'm not even going to choose.
