You'd love the 1st season. I guess you can't expect everyone to be up to speed on the quick wit and reoccurring jokes. As a Doctor I prescribe you 1-8 episodes from season 1*(fixed) and IF this feeling still persists then discontinue usage. Get well soon!

Give it a chance Jans! I felt the exact same way when I first started watching the show. However, after a couple episodes it crept inside me like a warm kitten and it's been wearing me like a glove ever since. This show is a journey through time and space, I hope you end up enjoying the ride!

I watched 3 episodes, and while I don't really hate it, I just don't like it much.  Kind of like Space Ghost C2C.

It's because adult swim has edited a lot of stuff out and didn't start the show from the first episode they're playing them out of order so if you've never seen it before its really confusing.

I concur, if I had never watched these shows before adult swim I would not get the show and flat out wouldn't watch it. Go on Youtube, watch it from the beginning, like any show is supposed to be watched and I think you will enjoy it more. It is very Britishy, but very good. Let us say that Adult Swim is an introduction to the show, a preview of what the show is, now it's your job to go out and watch it.

maybe if those [as]ses would actually put some of the good MB episodes on; you'd like it a lot more.  The only good episode they've aired so far was the one 2 weekends ago. other than that notta whole lot of funny ones.  They really need to air the Old greg episodes... Those are funny.

I'm not quite sure whats wrong with some of you. I sat down to watch the premiere on Adult Swim, and by the end of it, The Mighty Boosh was my new favorite show. Within the next two weeks I had downloaded and watched every show in the previous 2 seasons. I love the costuming, the plots, the weird creatures, and the way that its like an adult fairy-tale. In my opinion, The Mighty Boosh is one of the most creative and original shows I've ever seen (save for, perhaps, Xavier).

The Mighty Boosh as well as Garth Merenghi's(sp?) Dark Place, The IT Crowd (which they don't have on adultswim, and they shouldn't have on adult swim), and Look Around You, have filled a hole in my Television experience that was gapingly in need. 

I can imagine that it takes a certain person to like it, but as someone who enjoys bright colors (which doesn't make me sound smart),  fantastical plots, and the genre of dark comedies, this show is my ultimate passion. (And on a side note, I honestly don't feel like AdultSwim has cut out enough of the show to make me feel disenfranchised. I watch the episode when it premieres, and then the "uncut" BBC version, and its not that big a deal. Seriously, calm down about it)

Yeah I'm totally with you! I had never seen the Mighty Boosh until they aired it on AS and I thought it was freakin' amazing!

Since I had no idea how much was cut it didn't effect my opinion in the least... I still loved it and I'm officially a Boosh addict now!

I haven't enjoyed a comedy series this much since I first saw the Young Ones back when it was on "USA Up all Night" in the mid-80s. LOL!

I've now watched all the Boosh episodes from the previous seasons so that I'm caught up with the chaos, hell I even bought the radio show off of itunes!!

I think its such an amazingly ridiculous show!

I understand how some people might not like it... its all about personal preference and your sense of humor.  I can't stand 90% of the crap on TV that is supposed to be so brilliant.

But to say you don't understand it so you can't enjoy it? Whats to understand? All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride!

"humour") ** Yo Jo e! ** . and i hate how brits love this show so much they rub one out every time it comes up in conversation. they think anything that comes off the BBC is automatically superior to any american comedy. they say it's a "breath of fresh air" from all the american junk. How many people are going to join the AS boards just to go off on a pointless homophobic rant about the Boosh?  Compared to several other shows on AS, I'm not sure I'd consider TMB "childish."  Some of the characters have child-like innocence, but a majority of the dialogue is not particularily juvenile.  As for the ridiculous notion that the British people lord their comedy over us...right...I'd say the most childish thing a person can do is generalize an entire country of people.  Another example of "childish" could be someone throwing a little fit over their gratuitous swear words being censored.
