Milo Oblong: Milo is the youngest male of the Oblongs and the main character of the show. Milo lives in the Valley with the rest of his family and most the Hill children make fun of him for being "Just not right". Milo seems to have several problems, like having a soft spot on his head still, and is on several medications. However none of those problems get in his way to much. Milo goes to school and has a Club with his friends Mikey, "Creepy" Susie, Helga, and Peggy.
Beth Oblong: The youngest of the Oblong family. She has a very noticeable growth on her head, which is suggested was caused by growth hormones in meat. She seems to be very independent for her age and used to her less than normal day to day life. The only thing off about her is the growth on her head, she is an otherwise normal child that loves her family.
Bob Oblong: Bob is the father of the Oblong family. Bob has no arms or legs and just kind of hops to get around. He works at a poison factory that is owned by the Hill resident Gearge Klimer. Bob is a very Happy go lucky kinda guy to the point of obliviousness to rude people. He also behaves in a very old fashioned way which can be very noticeable with the language he uses. Bob seems to be the happiest with his life in the Valley.
Pickles Oblong: Pickles is the Mother of the Oblong family. Pickles actually grew up in the Hills but ended up moving to the Valley with Bob to start her Family, now her and her former Hill friends do not get a long. She is very outgoing, though the mass amount of drinking and smoking she does may help with that. She loves her family and is not afraid to show it, especially toward Bob, she is a strong independent woman and shows it in her own way.
Chip and Biff Oblong: Biff and Chip are the older brothers of Milo. They are conjoined twins at the hip. They often finish each others thoughts and are on the same page, but they tend to be very different People. Chip is more laid back and girl orientated than the competitive and determined Biff. Though they look very abnormal they act like fairly normal teenagers.
