Gareth is indeed a great character.

On an unrelated note, so I don't have to start a thread, I really like Ricky's Freelove Freeway.
Sometimes, even though you want to kill everyone, you have to know that killing just isn't the answer.

A tie between Tim (Freeman) and Gareth (Crook). They're both amazingly humours (excuse my spelling) and they add a brother vs brother kind of atmosphere to the show. Gervais in a interview stated that Tim was the only "normal" person in the office...
