I see it this way, adult swim is still a part of CARTOON network so all the live action stuff has no place on this network at all. Otherwise they are just asking for a false advertisement lawsuit. get rid of the mighty boosh, tim and eric, the office and any other non-animated show i missed. i guarantee the live action stuff is the lowest rated stuff.

I've watched stand up comedy. I've seen humor. I can tell you right now, both versions of the office are just plain boring to me. I think that the episodes are made up of office humor, which pales in comparison to normal humor. Hell, both versions are just the office people talking in circles and the end result is something boring and dried out. I didn't even find the **meep** OUTTAKES funny. Ricky should just stick to stand up, and carrell should stick to being hammy from over the hedge.

I have to agree, I tried watching it and maybe I just don't understand british humor but it = zero funny, we have satellite tv so I get CN E&W usually if it comes on one I just switch to the other channel and catch family guy or king of the hill, but the other day it was horrible, both channels were showing the office...luckily halo saved me from the dreaded boredom of said show.

Like it or not, you're incorrect. Adult Swim is a separate channel. It just shares the channel space with Cartoon Network. They're run by different CEOs and everything. When Adult Swim comes on, you are no longer watching Cartoon Network anymore. See?

the british office is just... boring.  

i mean i love dry humor.  home movies is one of my favorite shows.  but come on, british office is dryer then sandpaper.

I thought it was boring, but after watch the one episode when they kept saying stupid obscurities about the new girl and the guy got kicked out, i actually like this show. It's neutral to me, don't hate it, don't love it.

Yeah.... Honestly I don't care if adult swim plays cartoons or other programs..... as long as they're funny....Nothing against the british, but the humor on this show makes my brain want to explode....It's sooo dry.  Their ratings for fridays tend to svck, so why don't they put something awesome in the time slots?

I can't say as I enjoy any of the "British Block"   --- The Mighty Boosh and Look Around you are tolerable. It may be because I am so used to the American "The Office" but the British version is painful to watch. I would much rather them play Oblongs or Moral Oral, even if they are re-runs.

I don't think it's unfair, American's ran their version of "The Office" and it was a big hit. Then Ricky Gervais realized that we were getting loads of money for his idea, and made a deal with Adult Swim (which he later realized was a huge mistake) He actually just posted a blog about a week ago explaining his theory why his show failed in America because of the cultural differences between Ameircans and the British, which makes sense. It may have been slightly more sucessful on FOX or something like that since it's considered "smart" honestly I think of it as dry humor and episodes that have this same humor don't tend to last in the Schedualling of Adult Swim. I know Friday nights "British Block" has decreased Adult Swim's ratings.
