What ever happened to the Ripping Friends? That show was funny as h-ell.  and it was created by the dudes who made Ren and Stimpy Classic. Please bring this show back [Adult Swim]!!!

i only give the ripping friends credit because i love john k. and all his creations so much. it had its moments, but i was quite disappointed with the whole thing. john k. could have done so much better. then again, it was targeted for kids, no? hence, WB...

If it was targeted for adults it'd probably be more like the New Ren and Stimpy eps. Plus I could think of a better parody superhero show to come to AS...The Tick.  Or heck even Freakazoid would be better.

yea i could deal with the tick. still for some reason i don't get the same warm fuzzy feeling of excitement for the tick. eh, freakazoid.. i'd probably rather watch ripping friends on [as] instead, just cos i'm devoted to john k. not that freakazoid didn't crack me up and all.. i just feel it's not as much of [as] material compared to all the other sh/\t out there they could air.

*sniff* poor guy.. he's so great; he must be down in the dumps. i can't believe they ever took the spumco site down. i remember them saying they were going to put it back up.. but it hasn't happened yet. i mean, it was because of spumco that i ever discovered tenacious d! and john k. did the awesomest (yea i know it's not a word) video for bjork's "i miss you." love it love it love it some more.

I have the Ren and Stimpy Uncut DVD's those were the best. He'd probably be great if he learned there was other types of humor out there besides gross out. I heard he was a jerk though and that he was hard to work with.

i would so love to see the uncuts. but i dunno.. i mean, he did have to deal with nick... and vanessa coffey was a total **bleep** from what i've read. like, when he first even got the debut of R&S on nick, they like promised him no cuts, or at least really minimum cuts for profanity; but they lied and cut and chopped it up so bad that each ep became 15 minutes long. when actually each sode was originally 30 minutes long.
