2 weeks Til Halloween. So, it's that time of the year again. It's time to throw on your sunday worst and dress up and be someone else for day!
If you're interested in participating in this years Halloween Masquerade Ball, here is the place to do so. Just let me know and you'll be added to the list of participants.
Basically - RSVPing makes it easier on those who don't know anybody to know who all is partcipating and gives them a fighting chance at being able to actually guess who somebody is.
For those wishing to participate in the 4th Annual ASMB Users' Halloween Masquerade Ball - begin thinking of your costumes (alts). Also you might want to register them early as sometimes people have problems getting the confirmation email in a timely manner.
As always - remember to check your bulk/junk email folders when waiting for a verification email, depending upon your account settings, it may well be sent there instead of your regular "Inbox" mail folder.
If you don't know what the Halloween Masquerade Ball is:
Everyone makes alternate Screen Names and posts in the Masquerade Ball thread that will be here in the .Com folder (a different thread that will be made later), and elsewhere on the boards, in character as whatever their "costume" (alt) is, or just - you know general posting if you don't feel like the lies upon lies. This will occur on Halloween.
During the course of Halloween Eve - users will try to guess who each other are (ie try to guess the user's main Screen Name). And at Midnight EST - everybody unmasks and tells who their main SN is.
Those who guess the most users accurately get absolutely nothing except recognition for their uncanny psychic abilities and the fear and/or glee of their fellow ASMB users that you might use said psychic abilities for evil purposes.
Please don't use this thread to post with alts yet. But feel free to discuss this upcoming Halloween. Feel free to speculate, make sueggestions, talk about last year, or whatever like that.
