@IYBoy: your Attitude on this "Owl no longer top rank" thing is just one of many reasons why i don't wanna be an owl anymore. Hell i used to not like none of the owls... until i realized that not all of them are bad people and that some can be kind and caring... Just a few Owls here and there that think they're all that are the ones that bug me. then again, that can be anyone in general.

ugh, no thanks. I hated that color, it was just a lighter shade of shadie to me.

I mean violet isn't my fave color in the world but it definately stands out, and honestly i think thats what the higher ranks should do. I mean no one really liked the poop brown of Owl, yet it stood out against the background. To me the violet is the same thing. Not everyone is going to like it, a lot of people will hate it, and it will take a long time getting use to it.

But hey, there is hope. CJ only said that the ranks are 80 precent set. They have already switched around some colors, maybe if you petition them today they might think of changing it again. I think that why they changed it from the gray was cause the main agreement was that no one really liked that color.

i enjoyed the gold of owl...it used to show "seniority?" or whatever.

yeah, it is good that they've practically obliterated the owl population but they threw some posters back to a color they've already experienced.

i don't see that as being just...its pretty boring to me.

It's looking like it's going to be permanent, considering that CJ (who's done most of the playing with the ranks, not Drew) has said that the new ranks are 80% done.  He wouldn't do all this work to just get rid of them.

I think maybe a few of the ranks might be some jokes.

But they did some work on this. And I hope it does stick around. I enjoy it.

They did a great job on this long due overhaul.

i was never fond of the gold owl color.

And i dont see it as a color they've already experienced. There are a few ranks that didn't get a color change or name change. there are still swim shadies that are grey, VIPs that are blurple, ect. Really they didn't get rid of the old system, which is why so many feel left out, they just added things and tweaked it.  Everyone now will get a chance to experience a new color and a new rank at some point.

it may no longer be top, but it takes a long time to get past it. You have to go through all 4 Owl ranks to get to the next major rank. So it is still very high on the list.

with the quality of staff over the past year declining so...nope
expecially with yesterday being april fools day...
untill there is an announcemnt...i belive it's still part of a prolonged april fools day joke

if not..this is likely to cost us a LOT of good people
and could very easilly be a shark jump moment (as the idea of getting rid of ranks alltogether...just the idea mind you) very nearly ruined the boards


personally, i really don't care...
i was shooting for having 5 diffrent accounts to owl within two years (locke being the last of those to rank hypothetically) under this new alleged system i'd no longer care to do that but still...i know a lot of people will be very upset if this stays and we may lose a great many people who make this place what it is.
