The fact it is archived is, in many ways, pretty sad.

I guess when he/she made so many threads/posts about it, something just had to be done.
I still wish those 6 pages were still there.

Why has not my Red Sox thread been archived yet?
It has been over a year but it must just be a testament to the mods inefficiency. Although I should not be surprised because they are other team fans.

How come when a thread is archived it doesnt capture who posted at the time?
Why does post count go up in an archive thread? Why does a persons rank change? If it really is an archive it should capture the posters and post how it was when it was actually posted.
Post counts and rank should not change when the thread is archived.
Or is the system to inferior o actually be able to do that?
I mean its not like the thread should be captured how it was and for who was in it and what they were at the time, not just rank but when in their posting life they posted in it and where they were then. I mean how ridiculous can you get in an updating archive for the archives?

Well if noone can be bothered to answer my question since I am sure you are all so busy.
You may as well archive my latest masterpiece of a thread in babbling.
Something like you are not controversial.
Good thread full of angry dorks, excluding myself of course since I am one hip dude.

That thread started out great and just kept getting better.
Though I can't say I have a lot of qualms with the archive with Asshat the RP being put in there recently.

This is a great "People who don't read threads really do come off like idiots" example, and isn't one of those Rant-Traps. It was just a necrobump at the right time and the right place.
The first post on the second page is especially funny, since I doubt Capt. Taco would enjoy such a reply even IF he was getting married. Sarteck made a great necrobump on this one. And there's such a storyline throughout the entire thread... it's just so darned interesting.

with the recent locking of "FMA Continuing Discussion", arguably the longest single thread on the boards (or at least AD), and one that is mostly on-topic at that, I was wondering: is this the place to request an archiving? and if not, might I be directed to the correct department?
repeated for good measure (from the Lounge). because everyone likes that annoying kid in the front row who thinks he knows everything.
