Williams Street Trip.

I'll definately keep this short, for two reasons:
1. I'm not quite sure I'm in the mood to discuss all that occured at length.
and
2. I'm not quite sure I'm allowed to discuss all that occured at length.

However, after you read what I and Duzi have posted, I'm sure you will have many inqueries as to the proceedings of my  [that is to say our] weekend. Inqueries which I'll gladly give responses to, if I so choose and if I deem that I am able to.

Firstly I suppose I'll get it out of the way since it wasn't the highlight of the **hahaha** thing, I was not allowed to take photographs, or video inside the main complex of Williams Street.
They don't exist so don't ask for them.

Secondly, the people are there are nicer than what many on this site have made them out to be.
I've met Lazzo, I've shaken his hand. The man's got his head on straight, give him a break, he's a business man too.

DrewId looks nothing like I expected, but that's not to say the quality of his character, his...calibur if you will, is any different. Albeit he was getting over a cold.

Merril's a nice guy, though I didn't get to talk to him as much as I'd like, he was still very nice and easy to talk to.

Thom Foolery. He has a nice office, and powerful assets. Wicked sense of humor. He draws quite well too if you didn't know...
I also gave him and ChickenMMMM a drawing, which I am told resides in one or both of their offices, I haven't talked to them since Friday, I don't know.
Both great guys though.

Give Kim Manning a break.
Seriously folks, give her a break.

Uh....I met Matt Maiellaro, he was cool, I really wish I'd have remembered to tell him how much I loved **that new show on asdotcom that is filtered for some reason**. Which I did.
Hey Matt Maiellaro, man if you're reading this...which...you may or may not be I have no idea. **that new show on asdotcom that is filtered for some reason** rocks...pass that to Dana Snyder too...
It was like evil dead....only like...not.

I know I met their librarian, Dana Swanson. You all know her. She did the vocals for "I Like Your Booty [but I'm not Gay]" for Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters.
She's nice...and attractive.

Also The place doesn't smell like cabbage which is apparently the rumor?
You guys are so weird.

I'll leave it at that, I'll add more as I remember them, but you know...enjoy...and ask away, I'll answer to the best of my knowledge.

Why cant you discuss all that occured at length? They blackmailing you?

Merril is awesome... too bad you didnt get to talk to him more. He's a funny guy. Kim.. she always gets my love. I wish I had the chance to meet her.

May not have smelled of cabage... but what of spinach?

Too bad You didnt get to meet Dave Willis... that guy is awesome and very easy to talk to. He even gave me a small pep talk about what to do with myself when I met him. XD

I cannot discuss because it would infringe on copyright laws/agreements what have you.
I will tell you all that I can though.

Merril is awesome, I told him and DrewId that I loved what they were doing with the site, and they seemed quite pleased. I think Merr talked to Duzi more than I though so once she posts that'll be that.

It smelled...like an office building.

And yes it was too bad, but I'm glad I met the people that I did.

I figured that was the reason... too many stipulations on everything. :smileysad: We want to experience what you did vicariously. :smileyvery-happy:

You got to meet some good peeps. Sounds like you both had a great time. Good to hear... Maybe I'll win next year and get to go... that is, if I can even get through the phone lines. XD

Well you suggested I lay out a map or something...I don't see why I couldn't...then you guys can paw at the jpeg on your screens...moaning as we are all wont to do...

or is that just me?

:smileyvery-happy:
we had a good time, eh?

we started our tour by going to WS.
mike lazzo was the second office we visited..
and ill tell ya, lazzo is very down to earth.
i dig that man.
after making our way down the hall,
we got to chitchat with BumpMaster3000 and Michael Cahill..
both Gods of Bumps.
(and this may affect BM3Ks rep.. he was a very nice smiley man.)
Merrill's office is real close to BMs, so we saw him next.
theres a great painting of Birdman on his wall.. just freakin awesome.
i bet if we beg to see it, he may show us.
(anyone remember when he and AssProd shared an office?

i cant imagine how they got all their stuff in there :smileytongue:)
while we were hangin with merr, DrewId showed up.
hes a great guy and shared his hiring story with us.
(pretty neat story, folks, ask him about it sometime.:smileytongue:)
we got to meet some of the designers and stuff.
that was neat-O!
i knew we'd gotten to Thom's office when i saw all the packing peanuts.
(i believe Ted & co sealed up his office windows and poured the peanuts in..
the appearance makes it look like his entire office was filled with those styrofoam thingies.
(if anyone remembers the Door of Tape.. theres still some tape on his door.. heh)
it was good to finally meet ya Thom :robotvery-happy:
youre as crazy as i always figured you were.
we made our way down more halls,
meeting GoodBreads (fall intern) who is also a very nice lady.
(i know im saying it alot, but everyone was extremely nice)
we met matt and more peeps.. more peeps.. more peeps.
i think i started melissa warrenburg when i stuck my head in her office and said "12 oz mouse lady!"
:smileyvery-happy: good times, good times.
nick weidenfeld (peanut cop!!) was also nice, he came out of his office to say hello.
we also met the Toonami guys, who were all very funny and (you got it) nice to boot.
as we were leaving WS, i had to go back... for one last request of lazzo:
MOAR 12 OZ MOUSE ON TV, PLZ.
heh, it was worth a shot, eh?

:smileyvery-happy:

Good times indeed.

I doubt she'll read it but our guide Claudia was wonderfully nice, and has helped me through this entire process.
She rocks.

Well, that sounds like a pretty rockin trip.
I'll try and pester DrewID into spilling his story for me sometime, since apparently its a fun story.

Also, my jealousy knows no bounds.

Thom has a good hiring story as well.
I now wish I'd asked EVERYONE about the circumstances of their hiring...

Sorry about the jealousy...

Oh that would be great!
But they're very busy over there, the insiders don't get much time to post, they lurk more it seems, if they do get a chance to get on here.
Though Drew would probably be the best candidate for it...
As he is a Code Monkey I think he calls it.

I would think it would be somewhat awkward for a human to sleep with half of its brain...
You know...half of your body wouldn't function right...
If you got attacked, you could try and run but you'd topple over...like...well I guess a bunch of Brocolli is as good an analogy here as any.

You've ruined BM3K's rep forever duz. :smileyvery-happy:

I do indeed remember the Door of Tape... it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. :smileyvery-happy:

I think If I had gone I would have made fun of everyone out of nervousness the entire time. XD And it's good to hear pranks are not on the backburner. We just dont get to hear about them as much.

I'm glad you had such a good time Duzi and Unknown. Did you guys bring back a momento of somekind? What about pictures? I would love to see some pictures. Did Lazzo say anything about the spinach? Did you tease Merrill over tripping over teh fiya ants?
You know that guy murders fiya ants right? He is the touch of death to all ant kind.

Well, those are my questions. I'm sorry unknown, for bugging you about your bk line-up. It was great, better than what I could do.:smileyhappy:
