"Adult Swim" is the result of focus groups who seemed to like that name best over others.

That's all it is.

It's not a hard fast rule or anything.

Also site guidelines reguarding age are based on internet legislation designed to protect minors on the web.

As to the relevance of this thread to what Algenon asked, it was the "argument" in this thread (but not sparked by this thread) that had Glodson's signature changed stating that he liked Samoas, when in reality, he liked Thin Mints. He could not, as far as I am aware, change his signature for a while.
