Just thinking about watching the movie sends shivers down my spine. 

I am curious to see how packed or unpacked the theaters will be.  Either way, I'll be there.

The cast list has someone portraying former president Grover Cleveland. Heh.

And I think it would be a huuuuge stretch to say that this will make them "mainstream".  Tim and Eric have been making shows for [as] for over six years now and they're still not household names compared to a show like Robot Chicken, which has been around practically as long as Tim and Eric productions have, or what have you. 

Honestly, if you were to take an on-the-street survey, do you think most people would recognize the names Tim and Eric?

  Besides, I think the ship has left the dock.  The movie isn't gonna draw in too many new fans, in my opinion.  It's niche humor anyway

For those wondering how crowded the theater might get in you neighborhood cinema,,,Well if you take all 50-60 fans and average them out by state(assuming not all live in the same town) you have an average of 1.5 fans per state and a lot of empty theaters.  Add in the suckers who thought the movie looked funny and you might see a couple of extra people if they just happened to choose the same show time as you.  Number of people who stayed until the end of the movie...However many fans were present at the beginning.  Everyone else will be fuming and possibly arguing with the manager about a refund.

Don't take me too seriously folks.  I was being satirical...  You know like Tim and Eric try to do.

As I have previously said here on the [as] boards, Tim and Eric sell out live shows all over the USA on their yearly Awesome Tour. The 2010 tour sold out every venue and extra shows had to be added because there was just that much interest. They sold every ticket to their European (yes, they have international appeal) 8 show tour.

I'd venture to say that the people who travel, sometimes long distances, to see these live events will also be present in the theater when the movie is out.

People will definitely watch this.

I know a girl who worked as an intern on the set. She says there's an extreme diarrhea scene (i think we already saw that) and a part where there's a toilet paper store in a mall and a crazy raunchy sex toy scene with tim. She got to step in while they were practicing and now she like texts eric sometimes. and they've hung out

I am so excited for this film!  I'm still very curious how their jump to the longer film format will do, I know the chrimbus special was pretty long but it was still done in an informercial style, if this film is done in the typical film style following the same plot from beginning to end it will be interesting to see how they pull it off.  I'll be there *Wink*

A toilet paper store, that sounds fantastic. At first I was guessing this movie would involve a lot of traveling like Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, but it seems to be something entirely different. I hope Worf is there.

Yes its true guys, a **beast** movie!!! This is going to be awesome!!! It is said to come out some time in 2012. Starring tim and eric plus will ferrell,  john .c reilly and zack galifianakis as well as will forte and jeff goldblum. this film will be excellent.

ok so I asked a mod and they said we should just float the original one. but I floated the one that was second because it was a bit more recent and people had posted in it as far back as a month ago whereas the other was was from like jan-march of 11. oh and sorry to the original poster man for this thread it is old news and there are links and discussion about the movie you should see check it out.
