Losing an argument is when you either are avoiding the argument, which you have, or not responding to what people say, which you also have done. When people notice you not addressing something, you're beginning to buckle on what you say.

Other shows just got boring. Tim and Eric was something new to me.  I recall laughing hysterically the first time I saw something of theirs. Afterwards, I searched for anything I could find by them. It's a real treat.  And they're still as fresh for me as the first time I found them.

The passage I've quoted above is perhaps the most ironic utterance of the whole entire thread. If you were open-minded, you'd understand that people have different tastes and you'd be completely cool with that. Instead, you're the one blubbering and getting angry over a show's existence.

I don't like Anime, but I know that others do, and that's good enough for me. It makes no sense for me to put on my battle raiment and storm an Anime thread. I'd just look like a fool, y'see.

Besides, I'd much rather discuss something I enjoy than complain about something that really has no affect on me.

Huh?  Regional?  That comment struck me as odd.  I know people from all over the States and Canada who like Tim and Eric.  I live in the Pacific Northwest.

I most definitely wouldn't say it's exclusive to one corner or portion of the map.

They generate interest wherever they go.  Every single show was sold out last tour.  Boston and Chicago even added an encore show.

I'm from the East coast. I sort of thought the same thing as Westpark, but more along the lines of all of Adult Swim's form of humor. I think I selfishly considered their bizarre comedy choices to be a regional thing since they're based on the East coast, I assumed that it was kind of like a homegrown humor.

I know that's not true, but sometimes I like to think that's the reason why I like their sense of humor moreso than other types!

We're defending a show, and he still doesn't understand and can't accept that people have different tastes.  Like Resserty once in a different post which I agree with,  I  think people are slightly pertrubed that Tim and Eric fans can consumately defend and explain why they like the show. 

Some people like pineapples, like I've said before.  Why would someone hassle a pineapple fan for liking pineapples?  I dunno.  A pineapple fan shouldn't have to describe why they like pineapples, although they could.  Pineapples make them happy.  People shouldn't question the taste of others so mercilessly.

I ilke Tim and Eric without forcing myself to.  Their humor is for me, it's for the others on this page.  It's too bad some folks can't come to grips with that.
