Guess what?

Chicken Butt!

No, but really.. this show could definitely (and should definitely) be slated for a half-hour block.

LOL! I love this show. Palmer is so dumb, he thought the ice creature was going to throw the gun!

It was strangely arousing seeing Sasha fisting the ice creature. *sigh* She's so wonderful.

Time flies when you're having fun!

Sasha's viciousness went above and beyond the call of duty :smileyvery-happy:

You have to hand it to this show,

it's awesome enough to make even a gas giant inhabitable.

HAHA. Palmer's reaction to the Steam Mountain Tourist Video was priceless!

This was my first episode and I happened to run in on that moment when the professor shows them the tourist video. I'm hooked.

Palmer- "WTF!?"

LOL! I felt the same way. There was so much sexual innuendo in that video. :smileyvery-happy:

This show really does a great job. I think it is the best new show [as] has had in a long time, and with

new VB to join next week, I can't wait. [as] comedy returns with really funny material, and this show

is full of it.

Monkey Jebus, Sasha's ultimate crotch punching, and of course, defiling the dead monster... :smileyvery-happy:

Loved this episode.  I like how it's consistently funny throughout, but it still has some good

action scenes and there are actual characters and an actual story and there are actual plot

threads and stuff.

Even the peripheral characters are funny.  Like the steam guy from this episode.  But also

they're actually intriguing characters.   Like, beyond just being funny, or one extended

two-dimensional joke, the steam guy actually felt like a real character with stuff going on

outside of whatever joke/bit he was involved in.

I like that the show is funny, but it has some dimension to it that I've been waiting to see

from the Stoopid Monkey guys.

I feel like, kinda started out iffy before the pilot.  But the pilot rocked.  And each new episode

I think I actually am liking it better and better.

it's a very entertaining show.

They did, they finally did it!  They used the "Crap in a hat!" line that you always see in Toyfare Magazine!  Simply awesome!  The episode was great, but that really made it for me!

The video was funny and full of innuendo, but it also reminded me of the "Dino DNA" video from Jurrassic Park.  I thought it was funny how Sasha was seemingly turned on by the presentation.

The steam guy was ridiculous (how are they even STANDING on Neptune, much less drilling on it?!) and I can't believe no one had left, or was asleep after his speech.  Palmer was an idiot, opening the can of steam like that.  Is this a dig at the moisture farming on Star Wars?  Still, how would they collect steam, much less keep it in steam form in an independent can?  Just ludicrous, lol...

I don't know if Gibbs had anything to do with the Ice monster, but he managed to steal the insulating coil.  I wonder what he's up to...  The ice creature, which looked kind of like The Grinch to me, was handled in idiotic fashion of course.  Why didn't they just SHOOT the gun?  I would have liked to see what that advanced weapon could do.  Nice to see them keep the silly robot face in continuity with this episode.

Does anyone know if the ending theme is actually in Japanese, or any language, or if it is just gobbledygook?  I'd be interested to know what the lyrics say, if anything...

I think I finally realized my issue with this show.

This isn't a giant robot parody.  Megas XLR was a giant robot parody.  So was Dai-Guard, Godannar, etc.  They mocked, exploited, and used the tropes of the genre while telling their own stories for comedy and drama.

This is, depending on your point of view, the world's longest Robot Chicken skit, or Voltron 2: The Skankening.   An unofficial sequel to what I and many others consider one of the worst mecha shows of all time in Voltron.  It's literally, the cast of Voltron dealing with a "five years later" scenario, written by the Robot Chicken people.

I watched Spanish TV as a kid, and that meant shows like Mazinger and Getter Robo.  Maybe that's why I'm dissapointed. There's so much material that Megas scratched that Titan Maximum won't touch. Calling attack names? The insanity of certain pilots? Sideburns?

Not when you're watching a Voltron sequel.  I will give it this much though.  It is definitely better than the original Voltron.  So I don't hate the show, I just find it average and a lot of unsused potential.
