No news of a second season yet.

The DVD hasn't even been released yet.

If anything there won't be a new season until next fall IMO.

Just do what I do and search once a week for news about this show.

Find anything good and you'll get yourself a fun float in here :smileywink:

I personally don't see this one coming back for a 2nd season unless DVD sales are through the roof.

I don't get theses guys at A/S

They lead off with King of the Hill which is a second rate animation to begin with, then they follow up with Family Guy which gets higher ratings than nearly everything else A/S has to offer while showing their own stuff after people are too tired to stay up.

On top of that, they can their better shows in favor of more second rate garbag.

Whoever is in charge of scheduling and new shows should be sacked.

My idea, 1/2 hour family guy as the lead in, then robot chicken/ATHF for variety and a solid follow up.

As for Titan Maximum, if they would put it on a build you own DVD where everything woulf fit, they would have more sales and not have to farm out the work to CHINA.

Why would they need to be through the roof?  The series got excellent ratings!  Still, I don't see why it wouldn't sell through the roof...

And if we get a second season, here's hoping it is longer and/or has thirty minute episodes.

If worse comes to worse, Titan Maximum will probably get a "finale" skit on Robot Chicken.

Hey Adult Swim,

Would you hate me if I just rented Titan Maximum from a retailer  instead of paying you 40 bucks for the entilre season of Titan Maximum? It's not like I would copy it or anything.

BTW, you really need to have a talk with your marketing dept.

What?  WHAT?!?!?!?!?!

The MSRP is $19.98, and Amazon has it for $14.99.

I was referring to the Build Your Own DVD.

Season 1 wouldn't fit on a single dvd so you would have to get 2 and at 20 bucks a pop, well....That's 40 smackeroonies.

Still, they screwed themselves out of a dvd sale.

Schmucks.

Regardless of what the "ratings" are if they can't sell their merchandise then there is no money in the show. At that point they will just cancel it. I personally feel that the show isn't quite up there.

They would cancel a show over low merch sales?  Really? :smileyindifferent:

Well Since I assume they made the cover art AFTER Season 1 aired, the dvd says "Season 1" not complete series.  So I assume that they are doing the animation for season 2 right now. They're might be a trailer on the dvd or they might mention it on the commentaries. Re-dubbed episodes as a special feature will be cool too!

Well sorta. If you can't market a show, what's the point of having it? Of course ratings outrank the other stuff.

From the USA Weekend Who's News. Full article link could be found in the thread "Articles about Titan Maximum"

Is there any word on a second season of Titan Maximum?
Root:
I think there’s going to be a second season. It’s just a scheduling thing at this point because we’ve got so much else going on. We just got to the end of Robot Chicken Season 5, we just finished writing that, and all of a sudden, we’re like, “Uh oh!”
Senreich: For Robot Chicken, we’re still in production till December. It’s tricky trying to do two projects as once as we did with the first season of Titan, but it’s a passion project and we’d love to do it. It’s just finding time.

I'm glad to hear that.  From the sounds of it, it's just a time problem, not a cancelled problem.  I think I can handle a wait.  Even just nine more episodes would really be worth it.

Yeah and new season of RC is coming soon, that mean they're just about done working on it so it shouldn't be long. I'm not an expert but i'd say maybe early fall or winter 2011' we could have another season if they get to work on it rite after RC.

Yeah that would be my guess as well.  Once Robot Chicken is done for the season hopefully they'll start work on it.
